Pet care experience

Your go to pet care!

What sets me apart from other sitters is the level of patience, reliability, and genuine care I bring to every dog I work with. I always treat each pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and engaged while you’re away. I’m attentive to routines, quick to pick up on each dog’s personality, and always communicate clearly with updates, photos, and check-ins. I also have hands-on experience working with puppies—helping with basic training, reinforcing good habits, and keeping their schedules consistent. For senior dogs, I’m very gentle and understanding of their needs, from slower walks to medication reminders and extra comfort. No matter the age, size, or energy level, I tailor my care to fit exactly what your dog needs. Overall, I bring professionalism, compassion, and a calm, dependable presence that helps your pet feel right at home.

I’m in anesthesia residency, so my schedule has been very chaotic since moving to NC. Taylor has been incredibly flexible and has been a tremendous help with my Golden. I’ve had many instances where I’m reaching out for help the night before—she’s communicated effectively and always made time to take care of my dog. Highly recommend

Super happy with the service Taylor provided for my dog. She’s extremely responsive, understanding of last minute/emergency changes, and she took great care of my boy Otter. Would definitely trust Taylor to sit him again in the future.

Taylor is awesome! She has helped us with both boarding and drop-ins, both of which were super last minute. You can tell she genuinely loves dogs, she eagerly accommodates any special requests, and she sends lots of updates and photos. Highly recommend and we will definitely be using her again!

Taylor was wonderful to work with when it came to having someone watch our boys while we spent time with family at the beach. She answered any questions I had, and reassured me that my boys would be loved and taken care of. She sent plenty of updates during the day and before bed, along with some photos, this was greatly appreciated as it helped me relax and enjoy my time with family. Ace & Loki can get pretty anxious when they are away from us, and with someone they aren’t familiar with, but Taylor was able to get them settled and in a good routine very quickly. Hopefully she will still be working through Rover in the future next time we need someone to watch our boys when we visit my in-laws again!

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work Monday–Friday from 8–5, but I’m very flexible and can adjust my schedule when needed. Before and after work, I make time for walks, feedings, check-ins, and playtime, and I’m always available for early mornings, evenings, and weekends. I plan my days around making sure pets get the attention, structure, and consistency they need, so even with a full schedule, I’m always able to provide reliable and loving care.

Safety, trust & environment

When I’m caring for pets in my client’s home, I make sure to follow their routine exactly the way the owner prefers. I keep things familiar for the pet—feeding at their normal times, sticking to their usual walk schedule, and keeping their environment clean and comfortable. I always give plenty of playtime, attention, and affection, and I send regular updates and photos so owners feel connected and reassured while they’re away. If a pet requires special care—like medication, crate routines, puppy training, or senior support—I make sure those needs are handled consistently and gently. My goal is to keep pets relaxed, happy, and safe by making their day-to-day life feel as normal as possible, whether I’m stopping in for a visit or staying longer.

A typical day

I love making sure pets have a great time while they’re with me! Depending on each pet’s personality and energy level, I plan activities that keep them happy, stimulated, and comfortable. This can include walks around the neighborhood, backyard playtime, fetch, tug-of-war, and little training games to keep their minds active. For pets who enjoy calmer activities, I’m just as happy to do cuddle time, brushing, slow strolls, or relaxing enrichment toys. I always adjust the activities to match what each pet enjoys and what the owner prefers. My goal is to make their time with me feel like a fun mini-vacation, full of love, routine, and attention.

Before caring for a pet, it’s important for me to know anything that helps me give them the best care possible. This includes their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, and any quirks or habits they have. I also like to know about health concerns, medications, allergies, sensitivities, or mobility issues—especially for puppies or senior pets. Behavior information is also super helpful, like how they are with other dogs, kids, car rides, or loud noises. And of course, knowing their comfort items, fears, and what helps them feel safe makes a huge difference. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can tailor their care and keep them happy, comfortable, and stress-free.
