I am a 26-year-old Louisiana native, born and raised in Gonzales. I graduated from Louisiana State University with degrees in Animal Science and Biological Sciences. My coursework included companion animal management, with a focus on animal welfare, behavior, training, veterinary care, health, nutrition, and physiology. I have worked and volunteered with local animal shelters since my sophomore year of high school, gaining hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and personalities. I am comfortable caring for pets of all ages and temperaments — including those who may be anxious, energetic, reactive, senior, or require extra medical attention. My goal is always to create a safe, calm, and loving environment where animals feel secure and comfortable. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’m married to my wonderful husband, who shares my love for animals. We have one dog — a friendly Springer Spaniel named Brewer — who gets along well with other animals. Because I primarily work from home, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, flexible scheduling, and plenty of attention throughout the day.

We had a great experience with Taylor. She was in constant communication and sent pictures which really helped the kiddos feel ok with us being away for so long. She took note of our dog’s different personalities and they both got their favorite attention whether it was cuddles or games. I highly recommend Taylor we will absolutely rebook her in the future!

Schedule
I usually go into the office for work 1-2 times a week, the other days I work from home. I typically have a very flexible schedule for late notices or emergencies.

My pets are considered my own children. I make sure my animals are given the best care to ensure they are healthy and most importantly happy. I would never treat another animal in a way I would not treat my own. I intend on making sure I do the same with your animal(s). In my own home or within yours, I will pay attention to details and take your animal(s) behaviors/personalities into consideration when caring for them. I am very experienced with noticing signs of injury, distress, or sickness. I will be sure to have open communication with you on you pet(s) and the care I am providing them. I will apply my knowledge and experience to train or continue any routines or rules you have for your pet(s). I will respect your home and will be sure to leave it the same (if not better) than I found it. I will follow your pet(s) care plan accordanlty and specifically. Finally, I will provide love, happiness, and care for your pet(s) while you are away. I will do my absolute best to ensure they are happy until there forever family returns. I am an owner of pets myself so I understand how a they are apart of your family.
Pets
A typical day
I love to walk/run with the dogs as I am caring for them. Playing fetch, tugawar, and other things are a must to ensure your pets are able to exert any energy they have. I never leave the house without having water and a bowl on hand. I think it is important to let animals explore and and stop to smell anything needed.
