Loving and Playful Friend for Pets

Caring for animals is a trait passed down through multiple generations of my family. Something about horses, dogs, rodents, and manatees speaks to each of us. Lacey was the first dog I consciously took note of, as she was the dog of the house when I was born, but Max, aka Mr. Tinkles, was my first dog in the sense that he was wholly mine. He was a Boxer, Setter, and Great Dane mix. The bond we formed was unparalleled; to this day, I don't know if I've developed a relationship as special as the one we had. He chose me out of everyone in the shelter that day. He saw me and, figuratively speaking, said, "You, you're my human." I spoiled him rotten, and he remained with me from fourth grade until my senior year of college. Up to this point in my life, I have had three dogs, one dwarf hamster, one Syrian hamster, one bunny, three guinea pigs, four gerbils, and too many fish to recall. I have become familiar with what each pet requires to live a healthy, happy life. I currently own a Pitbull-German Shepherd mix named Willow. She's highly energetic and loving. Watching her morph from a timid puppy to a two-year-old toddler who loves playing in her pool, going on walks, de-stuffing her toys, and sleeping on my Lovesac has been a blessing. Between Willow and Max, I have witnessed both sides of the spectrum concerning dogs: those who are more relaxed and those who require additional exercise and playtime to get their ya-ya's out. Whether it's cuddle time or playing outside, I'm ready to give your dog what they need while you're away.

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a safe neighborhood that is great for walks. However, if your dog is averse to walking, I have a fenced-in backyard where they can hang out. The backyard is equipped with a balance of shade and sunlight. There are balls everywhere, and as aforementioned, Willow has a kiddie pool that any dog is welcome to hang out in. The pool is plastic and cannot be filled higher than a few inches. If you prefer your dog to be crated, I can do that. I have numerous toys that Willow would be okay sharing. Willow is not an aggressive breed. While she loves playing and running around, she has never lunged or attacked another dog. She has been to doggy daycare, and according to her caretaker, she did splendidly. She has attended doggy pool parties, where the local pool opens its venue to the dogs. If your dog suffers from separation anxiety, Willow and I will be there to give them the love and comfort they may be missing from your lack of presence. Willow is allowed to sleep and hang out wherever she desires. All the beds, couches, and Lovesacs are hers to use as she wills. If your dog requires cuddling, I will have absolutely zero trouble with fulfilling that need of theirs. I can be whatever you need me to be while you're away. Bring on the slobber, cuddles, jumps, and farts!

Taylor took very good care of my Great Dane, cat and fish. She kept me informed of the days plans and checked in often with updates of my pets. Everyone was happy when I got home and the house was cleaner than I left it 😂 Thanks Taylor! Will be reaching out again soon for more visits!

Please let me know if I need to account for any particular behaviors or needs regarding your dogs. As aforementioned, I do have a two-year-old dog named Willow. I prefer to be made aware if your dog is comfortable around other dogs.
