Pet care experience

Calm Home, Big Yard, Personal Care

I provide calm, attentive pet care for dogs and cats who are happiest with plenty of individual attention and a familiar routine. I grew up around animals and have cared for pets for family and clients on both sides of the Atlantic. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person looking after your pet and, for house sitting, your home. For boarding and daycare, I offer a quiet home environment in White Plains with a large fenced yard and no pets of my own. I keep bookings intentionally limited, which means your dog is not entering a busy home full of unfamiliar animals. I especially enjoy caring for dogs who are very attached to their people, a little anxious in new environments, older, or simply happiest with more personal attention. I work from home and genuinely enjoy having a dog as part of my day. Depending on their personality and routine, that might mean long walks, time in the yard, play, lounging around the house, or simply having someone nearby. I follow each pet’s normal feeding, exercise, medication, and sleep routines as closely as possible because I believe good pet care should feel familiar to them, not like their entire life has suddenly changed because their people went away. I also offer in home pet and house sitting for animals who are most comfortable staying in their own space. I treat every home with respect and keep pets on the routines they know, whether that means a 7 AM walk, medication at a specific time, or a cat who has very strong opinions about where dinner should be served. My background is in hospitality and event management, so reliability, organization, and communication are second nature to me. You can expect regular photos and updates, clear communication, and someone who takes the responsibility of caring for your pet seriously. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal as an individual. Some want adventures. Some want the yard. Some want to spend the entire afternoon attached to your hip. I’m very happy to accommodate all three. 🐾

Doggy Day Care • Jul 25, 2026

My dog definitely has more comfortable, lush accommodations than me when staying at Taylor’s. Perfect peaceful setting for my very nervous dog. Taylor is flexible and communicative and I feel confident leaving my dog in her care.

Doggy Day Care • Jul 15, 2026

Taylor is great with dogs and my Kobe loves to go spend time with her for doggy daycare. There is a big fenced backyard for him to run around in and she takes him for walks which is perfect for my high energy dog. She is attentive and calm and the environment is clean and spacious. I highly recommend Taylor - the best dog sitter!

Taylor was amazing with our little one. She took care of our Shih Tzu for over a week. She attentively listened when we explained his needs and asked well thought questions. She welcomed a meet and greet for our little one to get acquainted with her and a new place, which was very helpful. While we were away, she not only sent us daily updates, pics and videos, but went above and beyond to make him comfortable. She even bought him a toy! By the time we went to pick him up he didn’t want to leave! We will be utilizing her for a long time. Your little one will be in the best of care with her.

Taylor took wonderful care of our dog during our recent vacation. She was very communicative, sent good updates, and he came home happy and relaxed. She made sure he was comfortable during a heatwave and gave him lots of opportunities for play in their yard and also rest- very appreciated! Would be very happy to leave him with her again.

I had a wonderful experience with Taylor! She was incredibly friendly, caring, and took amazing care of my dog, Hana. Throughout Hana’s stay, she kept me updated with regular pictures and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that Hana was happy, comfortable, and well loved the entire time. I truly appreciated the attention and care she provided. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again, and I will definitely trust her with Hana in the future. Highly recommended!

Schedule

I work from home with a flexible schedule, so pet care fits naturally into my day rather than being squeezed in around a traditional office job. I keep my bookings intentionally limited so I can give each pet plenty of individual attention and build my day around their normal routine. Depending on the pet, that might include morning and evening walks, midday yard time, play, meals, medication, or simply plenty of company throughout the day. I’m home for much of the day and can accommodate dogs who enjoy being close to their person, while still following whatever routine they are accustomed to at home. My goal is to make their time with me feel relaxed, predictable, and genuinely enjoyable.

Safety, trust & environment

Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or theirs, I take the responsibility seriously. I follow feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and any household instructions carefully, while also paying attention to the individual animal in front of me. At my home in White Plains, dogs have a calm environment, a large fenced yard, and no resident pets to navigate. I keep bookings intentionally limited and make sure gates and doors are secure before any outdoor time. I also follow each owner’s instructions around walks, sleeping arrangements, feeding, crating, and how long their pet can comfortably be left alone. For house sitting, I treat your home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. I keep things tidy, maintain your pet’s familiar routine, and send regular photos and updates so you can actually enjoy your time away without wondering what is happening back home. Before a first booking, I like to learn about each pet’s routine, personality, health needs, triggers, and emergency contacts so I can provide care that feels both safe and personal.

A typical day

A typical day depends entirely on the dog. We might start with a morning walk and breakfast, spend time exploring the fenced yard, play, relax around the house, and head out again later for another walk and plenty of neighborhood sniffing. I live near parks and enjoy longer walks with dogs who need more exercise, but I’m equally happy with a dog whose perfect afternoon involves finding the best spot on the sofa and staying there. I like to balance physical activity, mental stimulation, rest, and plenty of individual attention so each dog’s day feels natural to them rather than following a one size fits all schedule.

The more I know about your pet, the better I can care for them. Please tell me about their normal routine, personality, energy level, feeding schedule, medications, sleeping habits, and how long they are comfortable being left alone. I also want to know about any anxiety, reactivity, resource guarding, escape attempts, separation concerns, or situations that make them uncomfortable. None of these automatically mean a pet is not a good fit. I simply believe in knowing the full picture ahead of time so I can provide safe, thoughtful care and make sure the arrangement is right for everyone.
