I have been caring for dogs of all ages my entire life (family dogs and friends' dogs!), and grew up taking care of our family cats! I have experience giving topical and oral medications, as well as looking for an indication that your pet may be uncomfortable, anxious, or in pain. I also have experience with pets who suffer from arthritis, anxiety, blindness, and hearing loss. I'm great at walking dogs on leashes and confident taking them to a dog park if requested. My own dog, who I have had for over 11 years, is my whole world. So I completely understand how crucial it is to find someone you trust with your pets, someone you know will love them and care for them as you would yourself. That is the most important thing to me as a pet sitter, dog walker, care taker - that you know that your animals are in GREAT hands when they are with me! I understand that pets are like family to most of us, and I am patient and allow them the time they need to get to know me and feel comfortable and safe with me. I am known among family and friends as 'the dog lady'. :) With lots of pictures and updates sent to you during the time I'm with your pet, you will feel confident that your pet will receive the love, attention, and care they need to feel safe and comfortable while you are away.
