Safety, trust & environment
I do my best to match the energy of each pet I care for. My family dog, Coco, is very calm and low-energy—she enjoys slow walks, belly rubs, and simply being near people, so that’s exactly what I give her. On the other hand, my family friend's dog, Stella, is full of energy and could play fetch for hours—so I happily keep up with her pace too! I’d love to hear what your pet enjoys most so I can tailor my care to what makes them happiest.
Information Taylor R. would like to know about your pet
I always want to respect both your boundaries as a pet owner and your pet’s individual needs. It’s really helpful for me to know about your pet’s typical behavior—what they love, what might upset them, and anything we should avoid (whether it’s certain places, situations, or interactions). The more I know, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy in my care.
A typical day
Some of my favorite walking spots are the trails near UVic and Mount Doug—they're peaceful, scenic, and great for dogs who love to explore. If your dog enjoys the beach or going for a swim, I’d be more than happy to include that in our adventures too! Otherwise, I also love exploring new neighborhoods that are convenient and close to home. I’d love to hear about your pet’s favorite activities and walking spots so I can make our time together as fun and comfortable as possible.

Reviews

A lovely person, clearly responsible and a dog lover. My two dogs were happy and tired!

Taylor's thoughtfulness and care staying with our two senior sheepadoodles exceeded our expectations. The clear communication made being away from them easier. We returned to happy pups and a home in better condition than we left it.
Taylor did a great job of caring for my dog who has some medical issues. She also was able to take her to a grooming appointment. Lots of communication with me, and my house looked great when I got home.

Taylor was fantastic! We had a good chat during our pre-visit to talk about our cat’s food, needs, etc. She sent pics and updates of our kitty, and we felt very comfortable having her pet-sit in our home while we were away. Will definitely contact Taylor if we go away again.
