Pet care experience

Compassionate, Reliable, Caring

I LOVE PETS! I’ve been a volunteer in several roles at the local Animal Protective League and WILD Canine Rescue for more than 15 years, which has provided me with the skills and personality required to be a great and motivated sitter. I provide individualized, loving care to every animal and am passionate about caring for your pet as if they are my own. I have experience in potty/crate training, distribution of doggy and kitty meds, and I have a strong leash hand. I am experienced in caring for critters of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. If you need a pal to lounge with your kitty or an energetic fetch-buddy, I’m your gal. Furthermore, pet etiquette (petiquette, if you will) is of the utmost importance to me— you need not worry about forgotten piles or doggy spats. Your pet will love my personalized attention, fun loving personality, and affinity for treats. Send me a message, let’s talk about how I can help your best friend!

We are new to Springfield and met Taylor when searching for extended stay for our (F) Lab. We are very grateful for finding her and her dog. Taylor was very receptive and caring, provided a safe and clean home for our pup, Maggie. She is an experienced dog-mom that is very good with communications. We will use her again.

Great sitter. My dog loved being there and bonded great with her and her dog. He even accidentally made a mess and she was great about it. Will definitely use her going forward.

Taylor is a wonderful sitter! She spent time with my girls and was gentle with my shy girl, giving her time to warm up 🥰 Taylor is friendly and communicative, asks questions when needed, and followed my instructions to ensure my girls enjoyed their experience with her. I will recommend Taylor to my own clients and will book with her the next time we need care!

Schedule

Pet care is what I do. When I don’t have Rover clients, I’m probably fostering a homeless animal. All dogs that I bring into my home are dog friendly, and I work very hard to provide the most comfortable atmosphere for every soul that spends time in my home. I currently work full time in an office that is a short 5 minute drive from my home and am committed to regular checkins and lunch hours spent with your pet.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced in yard, a dog, and a cat. I do require that all of my guests are crate trained (or at least crate-familiar) as safety is my number one concern. My dog is crated during the day, but free to roam the house at night. The cat prefers the solitude of my bedroom and largely ignores canine houseguests. I live in a relatively quiet neighborhood that is very walkable. You can expect your dog to spend their time playing with our ever-growing collection of dog toys, playing fetch in the backyard, going on daily walkies with Spud and I, and resting on any number of couches or dog beds that I have available. Through my work as an animal volunteer, I have contacts at several area vet clinics and grooming facilities and have experience with giving meds and grooming basics.

Pets

A typical day

Your pet’s entertainment is a top priority of mine (right after safety of course). During their stay, your pet will enjoy all of the comforts of home. Taking in new smells and sniffs on walkies, playing with my resident dog, going to the dog park (with your permission), and/or just high quality couch cuddles. We don’t discriminate based on energy level here ❤️

I’m excited to be there for your pup! While I don’t require any specific information before going into a job, the more information that you provide— the better prepared I can be to be the best sitter possible. Some helpful information: whether they are on any medication, and relevant habits or mannerisms that your pups may have.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
