Starting June 1, I will be working a part-time serving job 3 weekdays between 10:30 AM–4:00 PM, though my exact schedule may vary each week. On days I work, I’m available for Rover services in the mornings before work and in the evenings after my shift. On days off during the week, I have more open availability, and I am fully available on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting needs. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to plan my day around pet care responsibilities and make sure pets stay on their normal routines as much as possible.

Safety, trust & environment

I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s routine, energy level, and individual needs. In a client’s home, I aim to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any medications or special instructions. I also make sure clients receive regular updates, photos, and communication so they feel confident while away. In my own home, pets are treated like family. I currently have a 5-year-old cat, Clarence, and recently welcomed an 8-week-old puppy into my home, so I understand the importance of patience, supervision, routine, and creating a safe environment for both young and adult pets.

Information Taylor P. would like to know about your pet

Please reach out with any special needs including dietary restrictions, medications, and routine schedules. Please also let me know if there is any current training you are working on with your fur baby so I can abide by the rules!

A typical day

I love making sure pets stay mentally and physically engaged while in my care. Depending on each pet’s age, personality, and energy level, activities can include walks, playtime with toys, fetch, tug-of-war, enrichment games, basic training reinforcement, outdoor time, and lots of affection and attention. For puppies, I can help reinforce routines like potty breaks, crate familiarity, and basic commands. For more relaxed or senior pets, I’m happy to provide calm companionship, gentle play, and a comfortable environment tailored to their needs. My goal is to make pets feel safe, happy, and entertained while maintaining as much of their normal routine as possible.

Kennel tech experience!

Pet care experience

I bring hands-on professional pet care experience that goes beyond basic sitting. I have 6 months of experience as a kennel technician, where I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and needs while focusing on safety, proper handling, feeding routines, medication administration, and overall daily care. I also have 6 months of dog grooming experience, which gave me additional knowledge in animal behavior, safe restraint/handling, coat and skin care awareness, and recognizing signs of discomfort or stress. In addition to my professional background, I was previously a Rover sitter for over a year in New York, so I understand the importance of building trust with both pets and their owners through reliable communication and personalized care.

Taylor was great! I have two high energy working dogs that need a lot of enrichment and Taylor was able to keep them happy and safe.

Taylor stayed with our 3 dogs while we were out of town for a long weekend. She is wonderful - she met us and the pups before the trip, she made sure she was clear about all of the details (a couple of them get meds with meals), and she provided updates all along the way. Our dogs were happy, and our home was well taken care of. Thank you, Taylor!

This was my first time using Rover.com. I have a senior dog who is blind, deaf, and incontinent. I was afraid I would not find a sitter willing to take on a senior dog. Taylor was great with Gizmo. She kept me informed about how he was doing and reached out to me with any questions she had. I will definitely hire her again.

Would recommend Taylor 10x over! I needed someone last minute and she was up for it, providing lots of updates, stayed after the walks to keep my guy company, went above and beyond to get him some extra exercise. And when he needed an additional couple of walks because I was delayed in coming back…. She accommodated me last minute (again) and gave me peace of mind when I was away that he was a happy and cared for dog. It’s obvious she just loves animals and doing this makes her happy. Book her!
