Hello! I'm Taylor! My husband and I moved here from the Midwest a couple years ago and loved it so much we bought our first home! We brought our tuxedo cat, Benedict Mongoose "Goose" Cumberbatch, and our 15-year-old (but you wouldn't know it) puggle, Chuck, along for the ride, and they cannot wait to make friends with your fur babies! I am also more than happy to be available for pop-ins, walks, home/pet sitting, you name it! My love for animals is as old as I am. I grew up with sibling pairs of Great Danes, Shih Tzus, Rot/Lab mixes, and German Shepherds. I started caring for and riding horses at 10, helping at my Aunt Lucy's Paso Fino ranch, eventually riding Thoroughbreds and Arabians, learning new saddles and techniques, and volunteering my time caring/mucking for therapy horses at a nonprofit working with disabled children and adults through riding. I carried my love of animals through every stage of life. Helping people and caring for dogs, cats, horses, birds, homes, and the odd niece/nephew (easy when there are 32 of them) have been my life's constant joy.

I met Taylor when she volunteered for our non profit. Taylor is a wonderful, kind, and responsible pet caregiver but she also demonstrated great care for the people around her. She knows how to handle animals with great care, patience, and a calm attitude. She is trustworthy and treats every animal like family.
Taylor is one of the kindest most caring people I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. She is an animal person through and through that will love and care for your pets as their her own. She’s watch my dogs countless times when I’ve gone out of town and every time I come home they act like they’d rather stay with her than come home so I know she took great care of them.
I've been best friends with Taylor for over 12 years, so I've had plenty of time to confirm two things: they have the biggest heart, and they'll almost always notice a dog before they notice a person. Their love for animals is 100% genuine. Whether it's making friends with a shy cat, stopping to say hello to every dog on a walk, or making sure pets stick to their routines, they treat every animal like family. They're patient, dependable, and the kind of person who actually enjoys the little details that keep pets happy and comfortable. If I had to leave my own pets with someone, Taylor would be one of my first calls. I'd trust them completely to give them the care, attention, and affection they deserve (and probably spoil them just a little). Any pet owner on Rover can feel confident knowing their furry family members are in excellent hands. I couldn't recommend Taylor more—they're basically the type of person pets wish they could leave five-star reviews for.

Schedule
I am lucky to be able to work remotely as an independent contractor; this gives me flexibility throughout the day. I am able to provide near constant supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of love and attention. Your fur baby will never be left alone for long periods, and I can easily adapt to their usual daily needs such as feeding and walking schedule.

I have a fully fenced yard and two friendly resident pets: Chuck, our spry 15-year-old puggle who enjoys helping out in the garden, bunny hopping in the yard, hard-core cuddle sessions, and playing with his brother Goose (the cat), who likes dogs but also has plenty of high up hiding space, inaccessible to furry visitors. I ensure a safe, balanced environment by supervising all pet interactions closely. My home offers a structured routine, plenty of open space to play, and I can easily crate your dog if needed for bedtime or safety.

A typical day
We like to fit a good walk or playtime in the backyard as often as possible! Despite his best efforts, heavy activity does get the better of our old dog so we also mix in plenty of relaxation and cuddle time.
