They call me “Dogs Best Friend!”
I’ve grown up and been surrounded by dogs a majority of my life. From my childhood big Black Lab, to my grandparents German Shepherds, to my parent’s two little rat terrier mixes. Now, as an adult, I have my own spicy Pittie/Staffy mix. I have learned so much about dog behavior and reactivity. So much so that I created a small reactive owner group in my community where we meet up weekly for training sessions together. One day I hope to have a big property where I can foster dogs and maybe some other animals as well. But for now, I’m looking to help others. As someone with a “difficult” dog I know how hard it is to find care or even people you trust. I’d love to be that person for you and your pup, whether they are just a puppy working through their socialization period, to an anxious pup scared of the world, to a sweet senior who is use to their routines. Whatever the pup, whatever their personality - I’d love to meet them!

Three years with a spicy dog has taught me so much about management within the house. I will respect and follow through with any management strategies you have set up in your own home. Whether that’s crating and rotating, keeping blinds closed, feeding separately, and putting toys away to prevent resource guarding. Just let me know the house rules!

Schedule
I was recently laid off from my marketing job and since I love animals, offering my services here just felt like a win-win! Having a high energy pup of my own means I can only be gone for about 4 hours at a time. But I’m pretty much available all day between the hours of 9am-7am. If you need me to come earlier or later please just ask and I can see if I can make it work to help your furry friend.

- I want to know all about your pet but the most important things are: how are they with other dogs? How are they with people? Any specific triggers to watch out for? Any food sensitivities (if it’s okay, I always like to have a few high value treats on hand to reward good behavior)? These things help me know what to look out for or avoid on walks or out in public.
