Some great ways to keep dogs engaged and happy are playing fetch, working on some tricks or some light training to get their mind engaged, or set up some enrichment games (like hiding treats in a rolled-up towel).

I used to volunteer at an animal shelter where I helped with puppies, welcoming potential adopters, and organizing donations.
