Pet care experience

I love any animal, let me love yours

Hello, my name is Taylor M! I am a young professional in the local Fairbanks area. After having to say good by to my senior companion of 4 years(a loving basset named April) I spent a few years unable to take in a companion of my own. Instead I began to help care for the companions in my area as their parents needed! ☺️ I now have two pets of my own- two tortishell cats named Fawkes and Cheddar. Theh tolerates dogs in the home but prefers to have our cabin to themselves. Due to this I limit dog care in my own home, but am able to house and dog sit elsewhere. Located on the East side, but could pop in anywhere in the Fairbanks area. I enjoy running and staying active, would love to take your pup for a run! Reasons I love animals: - Unconditional love! - No talking (perfect for an introvert such as myself!) - The happy look dogs get on their face as they're running! - The feeling of acceptance one gets when a cat makes an active choice to sit in their lap. Feel free to reach out with any inquiries!

Safety, trust & environment

First impressions are everything, right? To ensure your pet trusts and feel comfortable with me and in your home I always coordinate a first meeting in the home with the owner. I ask to be walked through any concerns and what the day-to-day life of the pet looks like. I find that the less a routine for a pet is disrupted the less likely something unplanned could happen.

Taylor did great and our girls love her ♥️ Having her watch the dogs for our quick weekend get away made this stress free! We will use her again!

House Sitting • May 05, 2022

Taylor was responsive, communicative, and all around amazing. Both my dogs were relaxed and greeted me after being with Taylor like I had just been gone for the day. That to me is always a sign of Greta dog sitting. Will definitely use Taylor again.

Dog Walking • Jan 18, 2020

Taylor came through as a dog walker on short notice. She took great care of my dog and got his walk in. I’d recommend Taylor without hesitation.

Taylor is such a devoted dog-lover! From fostering, caring for her own pup, or just looking after a guest pup, she knows how to give them the love and attention they need - so it's no surprise she's an oft-requested dogsitter amongst her friends and acquaintances :)

Schedule

I do shift work that keeps me busy in the evening, but frees up my week days typically. As I do have a cat of my own now, I tend to pick shorter sitting jobs. If I am ever unable to accept a job I do have other sitters I can recommend.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Taylor can host up to 2 drop-ins per day
No breed preference! Any aggression, triggers, medication, diets, allergies, if they're good in the car(or get car sick!), vet info, and any preferred schedules (they like a walk in the afternoon rather than the morning, eating schedules, etc.).
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
