Dog lover!
I’m a big dog lover and very active, so I’m happy to help keep your pup exercised and entertained! I have an 8-year-old golden retriever who is super calm and friendly with all dogs. Since I work from home, I’m always present and never leave dogs alone—your pup will be treated like part of the family.

Taylor was quick to respond to a last minute overnight request to watch Ollie this week. She also accommodated a little back and forth on drop off and pick up times while we were also adjusting what we had going on. She’s great! This is my 2nd time using her and Ollie seems to be content while he’s there and after he comes home. That says a lot with how set in his ways he can be.
For the dogs that have separation anxiety, Taylor may not be your best option. My pup has separation anxiety and I was clear about this and his allergies in his profile and when speaking to Taylor during our meet and greet. When Taylor accepted, based on the above and her reviews I’d thought this was a viable option. After checking in one hour after dropping my pup off at the agreed upon time, I was surprised to learn that Taylor left him alone for an hour to take a call in another room and, according to to Taylor, that he’d cried and panted persistently for the full hour without her intervening. When a family member came to pick my pup up at the agreed upon time, a work person answered and it was unclear where the Taylor or my pup were. After this and subsequent diarrhea due to eating something he was allergic to in the short time he was there, a family member extended their trip so the pup wouldn’t have to go back to Taylor’s. For whatever reason, Taylor agreed to take care of this pup that she didn’t seem to care for. Sure my pup is “needy” (her words) but she knew that ahead of time and could have declined the request. Further, my pup got traumatized for the 2 hours he spent with Taylor that all the work we’d done to remediate the separation anxiety went by the wayside and now my pup has regressed so far that square one sounds nice.

Taylor was wonderful with my dog Bubby for the day while I skied!! He got a great hike in, got to socialize with her sweet dog Murphy, and she was flexible on pick up time (much appreciated). 10/10!!

Taylor took care of our Emma this past weekend. We were very happy with the care she gave Emma. Taylor also was communicative and responsive. It was our first time leaving our "baby" with someone through Rover, and we were so happy with our choice in Taylor. I know we will be using her services again.

Schedule
I work from home and have a very flexible schedule and take my dog on hikes everyday. I do require at least a 3 hour notice.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced yard and live right near a safe dog friendly hiking trail. Depending on the dog and personality I would prefer the dog to come to my home but am open to staying at others if need be.

A typical day
Lots of walks, I live right by a few trails. A fully fenced yard, and my dog as a companion. Also there’s a park down the street if you’re dog liked to socialize and/or play fetch!
