I make sure my pets have enrichment. This could be tossing a toy, exercise, practicing different training commands, or feeding a treat. I pick up after them, refill food and water bowls, give them a bath when necessary, will go for a drive to change environment, and lots of cuddles.

When I have the opportunity to pet sit, I try to incorporate enriching activities. Usually play time with toys or running in the yard. Lots of cuddles and tug o war will be provided by me.

I have various experience with dogs and cats from veterinary clinics, volunteer work at a shelter, regular pet sitting opportunities, and from being a pet owner of two dogs and co-mom to a kitten. These experiences have allowed me to acknowledge when a fear free methods can be applied, what behaviors to monitor, and how to watch for heat exhaustion since living in a desert environment. I am also qualified to administer medications if your pet requires it.
