I have always loved and cared for animals, especially dogs. I currently have a chocolate lab named Teddy. In 2021, I worked at a dog daycare. I then left to work at one closer to my home, from 2022 to 2025. Over the years, I have been around all kinds of dogs, varying sizes, ages, temperaments, and needs. For instance, there was always at least one anxious-avoidant pup in the bunch that needed extra TLC. Gaining the trust of an anxious dog and seeing them come out of their shell was particularly rewarding. As worthwhile of an experience as this was, I needed more flexibility to pursue my creative endeavors such as screenwriting. During my time at daycare, a few of our dog parents needed an overnight sitter. I gladly took on that role. I like giving one on one attention with a dog and making them feel safe and cared for while their family is away! This got me thinking that I should revisit Rover. So here I am! :)

Overall, I feel it’s best to spend the night in the dog’s home where they are familiar with the terrain. There are exceptions. Namely, one dog I sit for spends the night at my house because she has become my dog’s best friend! If that were to happen, I’d be open to hosting. We’d have to schedule at meet-up at a neutral location such as a park. I’ve been around enough dogs in social settings to know you never really know which ones will and won’t get along. Sometimes they surprise you! ALSO well I selected “no” to CPR and administering injections, I want to learn. I have a general sense of what to do, but need to do more research/gain hands-on experience.

Taylor was great! She had a very comfy presence for our dogs to feel safe and snuggled! Definitely felt comfortable having her in our home.
Taylor was wonderful. We could tell she was going to be a great fit for Gus as soon as we met her. She was super responsive in all communication and asked questions I had not thought of! Would highly recommend her to others and we’ll be checking to see if she’s free for our next trip!
Taylor took excellent care of our pup and our home. She checked in frequently with photos and updates and went above and beyond our expectations. Our pup had a great time and has a new friend. We will definitely rebook Taylor and highly recommend her to anyone whose pet needs extra care and attention.
My dogs love Taylor. They both positioned themselves between her, the door, and her luggage when she tried to leave. That tells me everything I need to know about their time with her!! Thank you, Taylor!
Taylor has watched our Stella many times. Stella has separation anxiety and it's peace of mind to have Taylor with her. We book Taylor for both when we are going out for an evening and when we go away for a few nights. Taylor loves dogs and gives Stella the attention she needs to make her feel safe and at ease while we are away. We'll receive photo updates, which puts us at ease, too. Stella gets nervous and it's great to see her snuggled up to Taylor on the couch or out for a walk. Taylor is always flexible and accommodates our schedules. We'd recommend her anytime!
Taylor has taken care of my dog several times while I was on vacation. He is always excited to see her and she keeps him busy and entertained! Taylor is a great, trustworthy person and I would recommend her to anyone!

Schedule
I am currently fully available and flexible! So, I am open to whatever is needed at the moment. I love scheduling in a long walks for dogs. I feel it is very important! As stated, I am working on my writing and can do that while the dog is tired out or asleep. That is why this is an ideal situation :)
