I grew up surrounded by animals, cats and dogs of every shape, size, and temperament, and that upbringing shaped how I see the bond between people and their pets: not as ownership, but as companionship built on trust. Today I share my life with my husband and Tate, our six-year-old Lab / Australian Shepherd / Husky / Border Collie mix, whose energy for fetch and love of people remind me daily why that bond matters. Caring for animals isn't a task to me, it's second nature, rooted in years of hands-on experience and a genuine love for them. I wanted to be a veterinarian as a child, but as I got older I found my path in communications and marketing instead. What I didn't expect was how naturally that skill set would translate, my love for connecting people with brands mirrors the same intuition I bring to connecting people with their pets. I see the deep need for structure and training in the relationship between pets and their owners, and I've worked hard to train Tate to practice safety and recall, both on walks and during play. That foundation has kept her steady and confident in more situations than I can count… I am so proud to say I raised her from a puppy into the confident girl she is today. Whether it's a game of fetch in the yard, a long walk, or simply keeping a watchful eye while you're away, I treat every dog in my care with the same patience and attention I'd want for my own. I know that leaving your pet with someone else means placing something precious in their hands, and I don't take that lightly.
