I have taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was 10. I dog-sit and cat-sit, and I have even bird-sat before. I have shadowed dog trainers and aided with behavioral therapy dog certification tests, and I volunteer at Best Friends shelter for dog walking. I am very adaptable to what works for each dog, because I know everyone has individual needs! I won't tire or get short with a puppy, and I can just provide companionship and support to senior dogs :) I know how to read a situation and how to avoid a stressful or potentially volatile situation with another dog, and as such, I will act accordingly because nothing is more important than keeping you pet safe and happy! For the background of my pet experience, in my parents' home, which I grew up in, all our pets (2 cats and a dog) have their own beds on the floor next to mine, as well as one or two others in the living room, basement, etc., so they can always hang out with us. We have a yard where they go out and play in or get sun, and take them on walks on the daily. For my cats we have 2 cat trees, and it turns out they prefer window sills and beds anyway, so we leave blankets out for them. We feed them 2x a day with wet and dry food, and will give dental bones to our dog and treats usually daily. In your home, I wil respect all your house and pet rules, treat your things and pets with respect, and give them love and attention until you return home!
