Safety, trust & environment

I will primarily be taking care of your pets in your own space for the purpose of ease and comfort! I believe sticking to their regular schedules and rituals in their own home is important, especially if the parent is out of town. As a dog/cat sitter for many years, I will be extremely respectful of your space and things. This includes keeping everything tidy, taking out the trash, emptying litterboxes, washing food/water bowls, giving medications if need be, watering plants, etc. :)

Information Taylor J. would like to know about your pet

- How they do with strangers / new people - How they do around other dogs - How they do on walks / leash - If they have any special needs or medications to administer - Most importantly: what their favorite activities are ☺️

A typical day

Part of the reason I love being a pet sitter is because your pets joy is also my joy! It never feels like work for me. We’ll play with toys, play fetch, go for long strolls and sniff out local parks. I also really love doing mini training sessions whether for basic commands or more advanced ones! Most dogs love a good mental challenge; incorporating it with playtime ensures they’ll be stimulated while having a great time.

Pet care experience

I grew up with many dogs and cats of all breeds (and personalities!)—I have experience with puppies/kittens, seniors, and everything in between. I started dog and cat sitting when I was 17, and continued on and off until I moved to Denver about three years ago when it became more full time! In addition, I’ve volunteered for many years at animal shelters —cleaning, bathing, feeding and walking pups before they find forever homes ♥️. I believe the best approach to pet care is lots of love and play, patience, positive reinforcement, and an extra treat or two 🥰
