I work from home full time!
I grew up in a household that bred Newfoundland’s. I am use to handling and caring for puppies, as well as large dogs. I know how to be patient and willing to work with your dog and their specific needs. I love to work with any breed, age or size. For 10+ years I have done over night and drop in visits for clients that have puppies, special needs, and senior dogs. Not only do I have experience with dogs, but I have 15+ years experience with horses. Caring for animals has become second nature to me. I work from home full time, so your dog will never be left alone! They will get all the exercise and potty breaks they need. I allow the dogs on my couch and I have a dog bed in every room. My home is very low key and quiet, a perfect situation for an anxious dog or a dog that’s never been away from it’s people. Every dog that steps into my house immediately feels at home! Please also note that I live with my husband, Patrick. Patrick also helps with the pups and they all adore him! Although I handle the scheduling and most of the communication, there are times where I may have to step out so he will be here with your dog. We work as a team to ensure your dog is never alone and gets double the attention!

Taylor is wonderful! She is professional and communicative and took very good care of our squad. This was the first time we were away from them for more than a night and I was very comfortable knowing that she was checking in on them. I’m so glad I had Taylor take care of my dogs while we were out of town, it gave me such peace of mind knowing my dogs were being well cared for. She kept in touch with me, sending pictures and letting me know how my dogs were doing. I am going to have Taylor take care of the dogs again and I highly recommend her!
I was so worried about leaving my cats Luna and Bob. Taylor did great. She even got them to come out of hiding! They are usually pretty shy. She kept everything really neat and clean. I would definitely recommend her.
Taylor and her hubby were great with our dog Rowan. She sent us pictures of him (Rowan, not hubby!) snoozing on the couch, with a pillow, and covered by a blanket. Rowan stayed there for 3 days (not overnight, we picked him up on our way back to our hotel every night), and on the last day, when we picked him up it was obvious he had fallen in love with his sitters. As we stood there and chatted, he first went over to Taylor and leaned up against her, then over to her hubby and leaned up against him. Awwww! You guys, thank you so much for taking such good care of Rowan! If we're ever back in that area, we'll let you know. I'm sure Rowan would love to spend more time with you. :)

Schedule
I work from home full time so I spend most of my time at home with the dogs. If I have to run out for an errand, my husband, Patrick is home with the dogs.

Safety, trust & environment
They are leashed at all times when outside. When they are in my home someone has eyes on them at all times. I also am able to crate them if needed at night. Otherwise they stay in our bedroom at night.

A typical day
Lots of walks! I work from home so getting out of the house is priority. I have a 7 acre property so there is lots of room and space to explore. If I am coming to you then I would walk in your neighborhood or even bring the dog to a park!

- I do not have breed preferences, I love all dogs! I just would like to know if your dog has any temperament issues towards people or other dogs. If it’s food/toy aggressive. Also any medical issues. If the dog is boarding with me please bring a copy of its rabies vaccination certificate. Kennel cough vaccine (bordetella vaccine) is highly recommended! Drop off and pick up time is from 8am-8pm. Please keep me up to date on when you plan to drop off and pick up so I can schedule my bookings appropriately. I prefer to only have one family here at time, but can make accommodations. I do offer pick up and drop off within 20 miles for an extra fee. ****Due to the fact that I try to keep it to one family at a time, I book quick! So please book as soon as possible to guarantee availability! Thank you!****
