I’ve been caring for dogs passionately & professionally for over 5 years. Currently I am only able to provide walking, drop-ins and house-sitting. However, I used to also provide day-care and boarding, so I have a huge amount of experience caring for all sorts of dogs, in all sorts of situations. I also know basic training, which is very helpful with puppies / younger dogs as it keeps consistency whilst learning basic commands / skills. From the age of about five I grew up with at least 4 dogs in the house, until I moved to the UK (from Louisiana) when I was 10 years old. This is where my passion for dogs began! I moved to Sheffield in 2021 from Bath, Somerset, where I built up really great relationships with the dogs I looked after (and their families) whilst running an in home doggy day care. I built up a lovely community and client base so most of my previous clients came to me regularly for more than two years! Now that I am settled in Sheffield, Im continuing to provide high quality care full-time as passionately as ever. I live in Hillsborough just off the high street and am happy to provide care for anyone 2 miles away or less. If your dog has any quirks or special requirements, I’m more than happy to speak further with you to make sure they’re being looked after exactly the way they need to be. I have a lot of experience with nervous and reactive dogs so I understand the patience they require. I also have experience with a wide variety of breeds too, so any concerns you might have, please feel free to get in touch. I always like to arrange a meet and greet with dog/s and owners before I look after them, so that I can get to know you both better while making sure your pet will be comfortable being looked after by me. My prices can be slightly flexible for bulk bookings or longer stays - so just get in touch and we can discuss. I don’t do this job to make loads of money, I do it because I love providing the best quality care for dogs and their families; so I’m definitely happy to negotiate for longer stays / regular walks in particular. Dog care is my full-time job so I am happy to be flexible on times and days. If you let me know what care you need and when, I'll be happy to work with you to find a solution that suits you and your dog as well as my other clients. I always walk dogs in secure and safe environments, I will never put a dog into a situation that they are not comfortable with. On walks I can prove a long-line for additional security and I always carry high value treats to aid recall.
