I have been caring for dogs of all sizes since I was 11 years old, starting with friends’ and family members’ pets. I also volunteered at my hometown Humane Society for four years, where I gained valuable hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages and temperaments. Growing up, my family participated in a foster program, where we cared for a mother dog and her litter of five puppies. That experience gave me a deeper understanding of the patience, dedication, and specialized care dogs need at every stage of life. For the past 4 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work professionally with dogs, and it’s a career I’m passionate about continuing. I’m also a proud dog owner myself, so I understand the trust it takes to leave your pets in someone else’s care. I strive to treat every dog as if they were my own, providing them with the love, attention, and care they deserve.

Taylor's care was simply fantastic. Her own dogs are so gentle and welcoming; you can see that Taylor and her husband are dog lovers. My dog craves exercise, so I was a little hesitant about how she would adjust to staying in an apartment, but I should never have worried! Taylor made sure she had lots of safe, outside, running time at the park! She sent us pictures and updates, and although Sydney was glad to see me, she was also stress-free and obviously well cared for. I recommend Taylor 100%.
My partner and I were driving across the country with our 50lb Samoyed, Jack, to relocate to our new home. On our trip, we decided to stop through Fargo where my family is from and take in NDSU football game — Go Bisons! We needed someone to watch Jack for the few hours we were at the game, and Taylor readily accepted our last minute (day before) request. Jack is a calm, friendly dog who seems to have been experiencing some anxiety on the long drive and is not consistently eating or pooping. We were a little nervous leaving him with new people in a new place when he was already on edge. However, Taylor and her family seemed to put him at ease immediately. Taylor kept us updated with pictures and milestones, and when we picked him up he had eaten all of his food, pooped, and played a bunch outside. He seemed happy, calm, and well cared for. If you have any dog sitting needs, we definitely recommend Taylor!

Schedule
Dog sitting and boarding is currently my full-time career, and I truly love what I do! Animals have always been my passion, and I’m grateful to have turned that passion into a profession. I have worked at three different doggy daycare and boarding facilities, serving as a Dog Handler, Shift Leader, and Assistant Manager. These roles have given me extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, temperaments, and energy levels. Throughout my career, I’ve gained valuable knowledge in pet behavior, safe group play, feeding routines, medication administration, and providing individualized care to ensure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved. Every experience has strengthened my passion for working with dogs, and I’m committed to providing the highest level of care for every pet entrusted to me.

My husband and I share our home with two wonderful dogs, Woody and Bee, who absolutely love making new friends! Woody is our German Shorthair Pointer. He’s playful, gentle, and full of love. He has accompanied me to doggy daycare facilities and has experience interacting with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. He is incredibly social and enjoys making every dog feel welcome. Bee is our Golden Retriever, and she’s as sweet as can be. She loves cuddles, making new friends, and having fun with other dogs. Her calm, friendly personality helps other pups feel comfortable and at ease. We live in an apartment with a spacious living area where the dogs can play and relax indoors. Outside, we have a large grassy area directly across the street that provides plenty of space for walks, playtime, and potty breaks. I take the dogs outside every 3–4 hours (or more often if needed) to ensure they stay comfortable and get plenty of fresh air. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. If your pup is crate trained or requires crating for their routine, I’m happy to accommodate that. Otherwise, they’ll be treated like part of the family and receive plenty of love, attention, playtime, and, of course, all the cuddles they’re comfortable with!

A typical day
A typical day in our home is centered around keeping dogs happy, active, and comfortable while maintaining a consistent routine. We start each morning with a potty break, followed by a trip across the street to a large grassy area where the dogs can run, play fetch, explore, and burn off some energy. Once we’re back home, it’s time for breakfast and a little relaxation—usually with plenty of cuddles and downtime. Throughout the day, we head outside for regular potty breaks every 3–4 hours (or more often if needed). Midday, the dogs usually enjoy an enrichment activity, such as a lick mat, frozen treat, puzzle, or a favorite chew to keep their minds engaged. Our dogs love to play, and so do we! While we spend lots of time outdoors, our living room often turns into a wrestling ring for friendly games of tug and chase. We keep plenty of balls, toys, and enrichment activities on hand so there’s always something fun to do. When the weather is too hot, too cold, or rainy, we simply bring the fun indoors. We incorporate interactive play, puzzle toys, sniffing games, lick mats, and other enrichment activities to keep everyone mentally and physically stimulated without needing to spend extended periods outside. Before dinner, everyone gets another potty break, followed by their evening meal. As the day winds down, we head back outside for one last play session before bedtime. Our goal is to make every dog feel like part of the family by providing a balance of exercise, mental stimulation, affection, and plenty of opportunities to play and relax.
