Pet and house sitting is my full-time career, so my schedule is flexible and completely centered around the animal companions in my care. I build each day around their routines: walks, meals, medications, brushing, and play, so they feel secure and at ease while you're away. When sitting in your home, I make it a priority to follow all written instructions exactly. I offer companionship and playtime when they seek it, and quiet presence when they need space. I also tend to household needs as agreed upon: bringing in mail, watering plants, and maintaining a clean, peaceful environment.

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I maintain your home as a quiet, stable environment and follow all instructions precisely; from feeding schedules to gate locks and leash protocols. I adapt to the energy of each animal. Some pets love frequent play sessions and attention, others just want somebody present throughout the day. I respect those rhythms and keep your pet’s stress to a minimum by honoring their usual routines. If your pet requires medication, special grooming, or added attention, I ensure it’s done gently and reliably. I never bring other animals into your home, and I do not invite guests without your permission; your pet and property receive my full attention.
Information Taylor G. would like to know about your pet

Any history of aggression or biting? Routines & Preferences: Feeding schedule and diet details? Usual bathroom routine (walks, litter box)? Favorite toys, games, or activities? Do they have specific commands or cues? Training & Rules: Are they house-trained or litter-trained? Are they allowed on furniture? Any training you're continuing (commands, behaviors)? A typical day
A typical day depends entirely on your pet’s needs and preferences. For dogs, the day might include morning and evening walks, fetch sessions, structured play, or simple quiet time outside. If they're social and active, we’ll find safe ways to explore new environments together. If they're older or lower energy, I’ll keep things gentle and slow-paced. Cats receive care tailored to their personality: interactive play, affection, brushing, or simply the comfort of a quiet, calm presence. I check food and water bowls regularly and ensure their litter is clean and their environment feels secure. Regardless of the species, I keep routines predictable: meals, medications, and potty breaks happen at the same time each day. I prioritize both engagement and comfort, making sure your pets are safe, happy, and well-loved.

Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m a full-time, professional pet and house sitter serving Denver, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, and everywhere in between. I carry independent pet-sitting insurance and approach every job with professionalism, consistency, and genuine care. Growing up, I was the primary caregiver for our family’s Cairn Terrier, and that lifelong love for animals has become my career. Since I can't currently have pets of my own, caring for yours is both my livelihood and my joy. I work best with animals who are reasonably socialized and do well with new people in their space. I understand that every pet has a unique rhythm, and I pride myself on reading their cues; whether they want play, affection, structure, or simply space to relax. I’d be honored to care for your companions while you're away. Feel free to reach out with questions or to set up a meet-and-greet.

Reviews

Very communicative!!

Taylor was great with our big dogs. They are a lot, and he was very responsive and took great care of them and the house. They loved him!

Taylor was amazing! He was super responsive and reliable and kept me updated with pictures throughout the stay, which I really appreciated. He took great care of my dogs and left my house absolutely pristine. He even changed my sheets! I came home to happy pups and a spotless home. I would absolutely recommend Taylor and would happily have him watch my dogs again!

Taylor was so attentive and communicative with our girl Millie while we were traveling internationally. I appreciated his updates so much and always knew she was in good hands. House was spotless when we got back too! Will definitely have him watch her again in the future!
