I have had my own dog for 12.5 years and have also volunteered at animal shelters helping with anything from training to helping after surgeries. I have always loved animals and knew I couldn’t live life without them. I have a senior 12 year old dog (miniature dachshund) that I have cared for, I get told daily that she still acts like a youngin’ so I’d like to think I had something to do with that! ☺️

Schedule
I have my own dog that I have to take on daily walks, feed multiple times a day and administer meds twice a day therefore taking care of a dog is always included in my daily routine.

We will take a walk in the morning before breakfast (or after if your dog prefers to eat first) and then I will take them on potty breaks every 2-4 hours. I work from home every day so I am able to be here to care for whatever needs may come up
Pets
A typical day
I live very close to the lake so I usually take my dog walking lakeside either playing in the grass or just taking a simple walk. There is also a small dog beach 15 minute walk from my place that we frequent so if your dog enjoys playing in the water that is an option too!
