I care for your pets according to the notes you give. I do have quite a bit of experience with them though, and may suggest alterations to your routine based on relevant experience ^_^ we have many community cats in my neighborhood, so that is something to take into account for dogs with high prey drive.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, I will be more than happy to provide reasonable accommodation for your fur family member. I have cared for elder dogs along with dogs that have special needs of all kinds :)
A typical day
I love providing ample exercise and structured play for animals in my care, thus building the bonds of trust required for healthy and safe playtime in all environments (especially outside of the home). We don't go to parks the first time I sit/during the first few walks, as it is usually difficult to determine whether or not the dog (or any other animals present) will behave erratically (since it is a new situation we lack precedent for). After we bond a bit (giving the dog food, earning/developing trust on walks, using your recommended bonding techniques given the dog's experience, etc.), the probability of the dog's disobedience diminishes and the likelihood of a peaceful walk increases.

Pet care experience
Hi, thanks for taking time to review my profile! Please note that I live with a cat (6 weeks old as of 4/2026) so that is something to keep in mind if hiring me for boarding—and as of 5/26, I will be taking a break from boarding dogs fyi :) thanks in advance for your understanding! I love sitting dogs at their homes, however, so please feel free to reach out about house sitting dogs and/ or cats! EDIT: people keep asking, so I guess they aren't seeing the vaccination card in my photos section—yes, I am vaccinated! Quick background: I've provided animal wifery services since 2017 (with Oakland's Doggy Lama Pet Care, Wag!, Rover and personal clientele). I grew up with dogs, the first I can remember being a sweet German Shepherd (this dog was already in the house when I was brought home from the hospital). My love for animals only grew from that point on, because I had a pet—dog, cat, bird or rodent—every year between then and 18. My husband recently rescued a cat, so there will be one present if you choose me to board your cat. I maintain a clean, allergen-free space for the pets I host (I have an air filter and sanitize our home on a regular basis as well) and take every measure to do so when house sitting. I have a fenced backyard (plus ample indoor space) for your pet(s) to take advantage of! Additionally, I will make sure to give your pups at least 2 walks and 3 separate potty breaks daily. Unfortunately, I do not board dogs at the moment, but hopefully will resume doing so in the future. I work from home, and my partner will help care for clients as well, as they have years of experience with at-risk, traumatized (and non-traumatized) cats too ☺️ If I must leave your pup (for house sitting) or kitty (for house sitting and boarding), it would only be for short errands (so I'll spend no more than 3 hours away from any pet in my care). However, if your pet has special conditions for care and you're looking for someone who can be by your pet's side 24/7, that is something I'd be happy to arrange! Depending on your pet's needs, a small surcharge may be implemented to account for the services rendered. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I hope to hear from you soon!

This was our first time using rover and Taylor was amazing! She sent pictures all throughout the day and was very attentive with our fur babies. Made us feel very comfortable leaving our fur babies in her care. We will definitely be using her in the future!

Taylor was amazing! 10/10 a wonderful experience all around! She was attentive to my dog as well as communicative throughout the whole process! She truly cares for animals and takes pride in her work! I will definitely be using her services in the future!

Thanks to Taylor for taking in my last minute overnight request for Dug. Very nice people, her and husband. He seemed happy and comfortable in pics/videos and was excited to see me in the morning!

Usually, I cannot wait to pick up my pup after her stay with a Rover. Knowing how well cared for she was during her stay with Taylor, I felt guilty to be ending her fabulous vacation! Taylor and her partner clearly love animals and go above and beyond. Her communication and the pictures/videos she shares are best in class, letting the pet parent hear and see how well their pet is being cared for while at Taylor’s home. Incredibly grateful to have found my pup’s new favorite five-star resort!
