Pet care experience

Full-Time Team, Tail-Wagging Trust

🐾 **This isn’t a side job — it’s our LIFE, and we LOVE it!** 🐾 No 9–5s. No work calls. No rushing home. Your pets are our full-time focus. My husband and I have a little more than 25 years of hands-on experience with dogs**, and we’ve been pet sitting full time for about 10 years. We’re comfortable with all breeds and personalities, including Bully Breeds, Toy Breeds, Hounds, Herding & Working Dogs, Northern Breeds, and even Wolf Hybrids. We also have experience with **farm animals and exotics**. We’re very active and tailor each day to **your dog’s energy level**—from multiple daily walks and adventures to cozy couch time for seniors. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, beds included, with lots of blankets and comfy spots for movie nights. 🐶 **Puppy friendly!** We’re fully set up with toys, play pens, and safe spaces for little ones. 🐕 **Senior friendly!** Calm routines, comfort, and patience are always a priority. ✨ Special needs welcome! We’re experienced with medical and behavioral care, including administering medications, working with mobility issues, seniors, anxiety, reactivity, fear-based behaviors, and dogs who need extra patience, structure, or supervision. We’ve worked closely with rescues, helping with **behavioral work, basic training, grooming, and general care**, so we understand dogs of all backgrounds. Because this is what we do **all day, every day**, we can provide focused care and keep routines as close to home as possible. We can accommodate **24/7 or constant-care pets** (priced separately), though most pets are comfortable being alone **4–6 hours**. 📍 We serve a wide area, and a small transportation fee may apply depending on distance. Your pets will be treated like family — because that’s exactly how we see them. 🖤🐾

Schedule

Pet care is our full-time job, so it’s naturally built into our daily and weekly routine. Our schedule revolves around the pets we’re caring for, not the other way around. We do daily walks, and we’re typically not gone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. If a pet needs constant care or extra attention, we’re happy to adjust our schedule to meet those needs.

Where your pet will stay

Safety, trust & environment

Whether pets are staying at our house or we’re caring for them in yours, safety is always our top priority. We don’t allow any pets outside without supervision, and we’re very strict about keeping doors and gates closed at all times. We also use GPS trackers on dogs’ collars—thankfully we’ve never needed them, but we believe it’s always better to be safe than sorry. On walks, we don’t allow new meet-and-greets with other animals or people unless you’ve specifically approved it ahead of time. We follow all dietary instructions exactly as given, and toy and treat time is always supervised—no one wants an unexpected trip to the vet for an obstruction. We’re very much an open book, so please feel free to ask any questions or share any concerns. We want you to feel completely comfortable while your pet is in our care.

A typical day

Breed? Don't worry we don't have breed restrictions!!! We’ve worked with everything from tiny pups to working dogs, bully breeds, wolf dogs— we love them all. We like the details: leash habits, crate training, favorite toys, comfort items, and if a trainer or behaviorist is involved. Behavior quirks? Special needs? Not a problem. Your dog will be happy, safe, and getting the attention they deserve. 🐾

Every pup is unique, and we want their stay to be fun, safe, and comfy. To help us, please tell us a bit about your dog’s age, how long they’ve been with you, crate and leash habits, temperament with dogs, kids, or other animals, favorite toys or comfort items, sleeping style (bed, crate, under/over covers), food motivation, and any training or behavior support. The more we know, the better we can make their stay perfect!
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
