Pet care experience

We love walks, play and safety!

I have lived in DC for over 3 years now, teaching special education with little people. During quarantine, I got to take my teaching online and spent months at home in Michigan where my dogs, Rocco and Moddy (pictured in my bio) live. Being away from them all this time and having to leave them again to come back to DC was very sad :( Between them, family and friend’s pups, and my beloved fur babies that have passed on, I have went on hundreds of dog walks in my life with small and large pups of all ages and I know how to ensure that the doggies are safe and having fun (and if I’m staying at your home, that your home is in good hands, too). In addition, as I have spent many years as a dog (and cat) mommy/second mommy, I am aware of how to care for them including basic grooming (brushing and washing), feeding, medication administration (diabetes included), and safe play, particularly for puppies who are developing! As I teach small children, I am full of energy but also always down to relax. So whether your dog is a cuddler, a sleeper, a bit shy, anxious, or energetic, I know how to meet them where they are to ensure the best care possible.

Taylor is amazing- you can't do better than her. My dog absolutely loves her and so do the front desk staff at my building. We are very lucky to have her and you will feel the same.

Repeat customer here! Nothing but good things to say about Taylor and how she took care of our cats. We felt completely safe entrusting her to care for our cats - she did an awesome job playing, feeding, and caring for them. On a site that's more geared towards dogs, it's great to see someone also work great with cats. Would highly recommend!

Taylor was a great dog sitter! She sent us pictures and messages and made sure our dog's needs were met. She's familiar with dogs that have dog-related reactivity and separation anxiety and our dog is very happy to stay with her.

Taylor can host up to 3 drop-ins per day
1. Are they social? (With other dogs? Cats? People?) 2. Do they have any special tendencies or needs that I should be aware of? (Allergies, frequent urination/defecation, paw chewing, shoe chewing, finding and eating non-edible items while walking or in a home like a small toy, goose feces if we’re at a park, for example) 3. Does you and your pup have a special way to communicate needs? (For example, do you use a bell on a door for them to indicate that they need to use the bathroom? Etc.?) 4. No breed preferences! I have cared for dogs as large as full grown Akitas to as small as a baby cockapoo! As long as they are friendly enough to allow me to care/walk them while you are away, I will be glad to take them on! ***I also know what it’s like to walk a dog that is not social with other animals or people while in a busy area and how to handle them/communicate to other dog owners their need for space, as my family dog, Rocco, who is a Boxer/Presa Canario Breed mix, is not too social with other dogs.
