Hi! I’m Taylor, a lifelong animal lover and proud dog parent to my pup, Zora. I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I treat every animal in my care like they’re my own. I’m patient, attentive, and great at reading animal body language. Whether your dog is high-energy and playful or more on the shy, anxious side, I take the time to meet them where they’re at and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m especially experienced with: Dogs with separation anxiety Puppies who are still learning manners I believe in clear communication, consistency, and lots of positive reinforcement. You’ll always get updates, photos, and honest check-ins while you’re away. I know that peace of mind matters just as much as good care.

Taylor was fantastic! She took our dog on lots of walks and sent loads of updates and pictures. Our dog was very happy spending time with Taylor and her dog. She was very pleasant to deal with. We really hope to use her whenever the need arises.

Schedule
I currently work from home full time, and dogs and cats truly mean the world to me. I structure my personal schedule around my pet care commitments so I can be fully present and reliable for every animal I care for. I love being outdoors, so walks, playtime, and hands-on pet care naturally fit into my daily routine. Caring for pets isn’t something I squeeze in, it’s a core part of my day and something I genuinely enjoy.

I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with a dog park, access to a connected trail system, and walking paths around a nearby lake, which makes it easy to provide safe, enriching outdoor time. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. For pets who experience separation anxiety or simply need a little extra security, I have an impact dog crate available for overnight stays or short periods when I step out. I only use it when appropriate and with owner approval, ensuring it feels like a calm, positive space. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining routines, following instructions closely, and creating a calm, predictable environment. I treat every pet and home with respect, and my goal is always to build trust, both with your pet and with you.
Pets
A typical day
Mornings usually start with a walk to get fresh air and movement, followed by breakfast. After that, Zora enjoys enrichment time. Puzzle toys, sniff work, or relaxing nearby while I start my day. Midday is usually spent outdoors again, whether that’s another walk on nearby trails, time around the lake, or the dog park. Zora loves getting outside. Evenings include dinner, a final walk or potty break, and wind-down time. We usually end the day on the couch. Zora and I love cuddles!
