About Taylor B.

Safety, trust & environment
It is important for me to meet the client and their pet prior, so that we can get to know each other better. I have a year's worth of experience volunteering at Heart of the Valley, as well as being around both cats and dogs while driving for UPS. I am double insured with Rover's guarantee and PCI. Heart of the Valley taught me necessary skills and techniques for dealing with animals seeing me as a stranger, as well as proper scheduled care for them. I drove for UPS for 3 years and dedicated extra time to stop by my regulars to accompany their pets, as well as been trained in dealing with dog's warning signs when approaching someone's home. During each visit, I will send updates and pictures for your enjoyment and peace of mind!
Information Taylor B. would like to know about your pet
Let me know of any special needs, diet restrictions, and the pet’s veterinarian or the owner’s emergency contact in case anything were to happen. I want to keep to their normal routine as much as possible. I enjoy learning new things, so I'm always staying educated on anything that could be beneficial or harmful to animals. It is also important for me to know whether or not your pet reacts well with others and especially children that love to come up without warning.
A typical day
With dogs, I enjoy the chuck-it fetch toy and taking a walk in the park. I get plenty of daily exercise, so I can handle higher energetic dogs. I read dogs very well and am not going to force a dog into something it does not want to do. I am experienced in dealing with high stress/anxious dogs. Cats are a bit more easy-going, so I stimulate them using a cat wand. Cats also love to be brushed, and it's a great way to bond with the cat.

Pet care experience
Extensive training through Heart of the valley in dealing with love and care towards the animals. UPS has a training program in which we are taught ways to deal with stressed and aggressive animals on a home owner's property. Having been on Rover for 2 years now, I've learned a lot about pets and all of their unique and special needs. I take my pet care seriously and as professional as possible, because it’s more than just a side hustle, it's what I enjoy doing. I've worked with young and senior animals taking careful consideration to each whether it's administering medication and ointments, or extra support on walks. I am always looking to learn something new to be better prepared for anything that comes my way.

Reviews

Taylor followed the care instructions, left everything clean, was communicative, and very clearly knew about cat care. He even took extra steps to confirm what vet the cats went to during the meet and greet. We will definitely be using him in the future.

Taylor was great!

Thanks for watching our kitty!

Taylor is conscientious and reliable . We are so grateful to have found him!
