Lovable Vet Tech with 900+ hours!:)

Hi my name is Taylor! And yes it is true: I have over 900+ hours working in animal care! I love ALL CATS and ALL DOGS! I have dedicated my heart and soul to providing great quality and care for all animals in need. For reference, my past experience ranges from a local zoo (for exotic animals) to animal shelters to a pet hotel (domestic animals and my current occupation). I am currently a vet tech and take care of up to 100 dogs and cats a day (walks, play times, bathing, feeding, individual care) and of course, lots of extra love and attention!! Most importantly, I am trained in recognizing the critical signs of stress for all animals that may be at risk for being taken to the vet, as well as being Pet CPR/First Aid certified. I take my line of work very seriously and will treat your family just like my own family. I am very dependable and thrive in high-energy situations! I will do my best to work my schedule around your own. I have one dog of my own: a standard poodle named Pepper. She loves to meet new friends and play!! I stay at home full time as an online student at UTD! I am available to take care of your furry friend anytime you’d like, I love staying busy. I do commute to campus periodically which is reflected in the unavailable days of my schedule. However, I’d love to work with you so please reach out anyways to see if we can figure something out! I am a fitness enthusiast and my dogs often run out of energy before I do. I have one sweetheart dog of my own named Pepper who loves meeting new friends. Pepper likes to play tag! She doesn’t really bark or react, and her favorite pastime is sleeping.

I love building a personal bond with pets, it is my goal to become their interim best friend while you are away. I would never think twice about not treating them as my own. I am trained in emergency pet triage and I have saved pets by recognizing critical signs early on.

Taylor was amazing at caring for our cat!! She left very detailed rover cards for each visit along with amazing photos that we loved seeing while we were away. She did such a wonderful job that we booked her again immediately!

Taylor always does an awesome job taking care of my kitty! She's super reliable and sends lots of pictures and updates. I'm always nervous leaving kitty by herself, but I feel better knowing Taylor will be looking after her!

Taylor is my go-to rover. As soon as I book a trip I start crossing my fingers that she’s available. She’s so incredible at what she does. I can rest easy when my cats are in her hands. She also does a fantastic job taking lots of pictures so I can stay updated on their shenanigans. Highly highly recommend:)

As always, Taylor was amazing. My kitty can be pretty difficult and needed some extra care this time, and Taylor went above and beyond to help. She’s my first choice every time!

Schedule

I am currently working full-time at a vet clinic and have very early mornings that I am awake. I prefer anytime before 7 am for morning visits and anytime after 5:30 pm for PM visits!

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
41 to 100 lbs
over 101 lbs
Taylor can host up to 5 drop-ins per day
I love all breeds! No such thing as an aggressive breed, unless the aggression is taught. Would love to know if there are any: -triggers while walking (such as cars, squirrels, etc.) -allergies to yeast (for dog treats)
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
