I grew up around horses and dogs, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I now balance a desk-based career with pet sitting and dog walking, which is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. I’ve cared for dogs with a range of personalities and routines, and I aim to make the experience easy and stress-free for both you and your pet. When I lived in Colorado, I went through extensive training with my own dog, which gave me a strong foundation in structure, consistency, and reading behavior. I now have the best boy, Scruff, and I bring that same level of care and awareness to every dog I work with. I currently work part-time, which allows me to maintain a flexible and dependable schedule for pet care. I’m able to accommodate morning, midday, and evening visits, and I prioritize consistency for pets who thrive on routine. Because I have control over my day-to-day schedule, I’m intentional about the bookings I take on to ensure each pet receives reliable, attentive care. This also allows me to be responsive and flexible when needs shift or plans change.

I prioritize safety, consistency, and making sure your pet feels comfortable in their environment. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to your routines and instructions so things feel as normal and stress-free as possible, whether that’s feeding, walks, or any specific preferences your dog is used to. I’m mindful of the details that matter, like secure leashing, safe entry and exit, and leaving your home exactly as I found it. I also keep a close eye on behavior and energy levels, and I’ll communicate anything notable so you’re never left wondering how things are going. If caring for a pet in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and structured environment where pets can settle in comfortably. My dog, Scruff, is well-trained, and I ensure any interactions are safe, gradual, and a good fit for both dogs, though I don’t do introductions without pet parents first! At the end of the day, I understand how much trust this takes. I treat every pet and home with the same level of care and respect that I expect for my own.

A typical day depends on your dog’s routine and energy level! For more active dogs, that might include a longer walk, playtime, and a bit of light training or mental stimulation. For more relaxed dogs, it’s shorter walks, attention, and keeping them company. I focus on balance, making sure your dog gets movement, engagement, and downtime in a way that feels comfortable for them. Whatever your dog needs, I’m here to adjust!
