Our home features a spacious, multistory, open-concept design that provides plenty of room for the dogs to roam and play indoors. They have ample space to wrestle, run around, and enjoy a variety of toys. For dogs that love to chew, we offer strong chew toys and antler bones; however, we do not provide rawhide or marrow products, as these can be unsafe. All toys and bones are checked for appropriate size before being given to the dogs, and none are left with them unattended. Aside from the kitchen, our house is fully carpeted, which is beneficial for dogs as it helps prevent slipping. This is especially important for larger or older dogs that may have difficulty on hard floors. We do not allow dogs in the basement, minimizing the number of stairs they need to navigate. We also use doggy gates to limit their play areas and keep them in approved spaces. We have a large, fully fenced backyard where the dogs can run on the grass, chase each other, wrestle, play fetch, or even interact with bubbles. In the summer, we set up a kiddie pool and sprinklers for extra fun. Additionally, we often provide a sandbox so our dogs can satisfy their urge to dig. Regular potty breaks are offered every few hours or whenever the dogs signal that they need to go outside. We are fully equipped to accommodate puppies or dogs in potty training who may need more frequent bathroom breaks. We believe consistency is key, which is why we maintain a schedule for feeding times and potty breaks. For puppies, we also limit water intake before bedtime to help reduce accidents. Just let us know your schedule, and we will adhere to it to make the transition easier for your dog.

A typical day
A typical day at our home begins around 7 a.m. I take the dogs outside first so they can go to the bathroom and run around for about 20 minutes. After that, we come inside for breakfast. To ensure the dogs’ safety, I feed them separately. Once they’ve all eaten, we relax indoors for 30 to 45 minutes to allow for digestion, as it’s important that they don’t play right after eating. After the break, we head back outside and enjoy the fresh air for most of the morning. We usually play with toys, blow bubbles, and engage in other activities, depending on the weather. Around noon, we come back inside, and I encourage the dogs to lie down and take a nap. I’ve found that without this calm period, some dogs can become overstimulated and cranky. Even if they just lie down and chew on a bone, it helps them learn to self-soothe and regulate their emotions. After about an hour or two, we usually go back outside to play again. This continues until dinner, when I feed them separately once more and have them wait to digest. As the day winds down, we go out for a few more potty breaks, and bedtime is typically around 10 p.m.

While in my care, your dog will enjoy a calm family environment with consistent supervision, ensuring they feel safe and secure. Whether inside or outside the home, there will always be someone watching over your pup. They will be treated as one of the family during the duration of their stay. My philosophy is that dogs require not just physical, but mental stimulation to be truly content and tired. Similarly to people, dogs can become easily bored. This is why it's important to constantly change the type of play and activities they engage in. While staying with me, your dog will participate in a variety of fun, enriching activities, such as fetch, puzzles, sniff spots, bubbles, pools, and an assortment of toys that are regularly replaced. Your dog will be engaged and stimulated throughout their stay. As a sitter, I do my best to reassure owners and answer any questions they may have, helping them feel confident in my care. I understand that leaving your pup, a beloved family member, with a stranger can be stressful. My goal is to make both of you feel as comfortable and at ease as possible, even before your stay. This is why I offer a meet-and-greet where you can see the space your dog will stay in, ask questions, and meet my own dog. I also provide a trial daycare so your pup can get comfortable in my care while you are nearby. I send daily pictures with updates on everything your pup has been doing to keep you informed and reassured. My extensive experience includes owning and raising dogs since I was 10 years old and working with Rover since 2020. During COVID, I gained valuable skills working with anxious dogs and those without much socialization. Over six years, I’ve developed expertise in basic training, food allergies, potty training, and grooming, handling most of the top 20 dog breeds to meet their unique needs. With my current schedule, I am available all week long. My drop-off and pick-up times are between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. However, exceptions can be made for extenuating circumstances
