I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13 years old and have been a dog lover ever since. I volunteered for many years for an Alaskan Malamute rescue and have a passion for making sure dogs get all the love they deserve. Growing up, I would walk my two 80lb Malamutes together without issue, so I am experienced and comfortable with large (and stubborn) dogs. I’ve gone through dog training with my malamute, Xander, and even placed in 2nd in a training competition.

Safety, trust & environment
The safety of your pet is my #1 priority. I am very aware and attentive of opening and closing the doors and will always double check to make sure your pet is safe and secure. I can crate your dog if needed or requested, or any other special requests you have to ensure you are comfortable with your pet’s safety.

Taya was one of the best house sitters we have used! We were out of town for 5 nights and she kept great care of our large dog. Her communication is her shining highlight. We knew exactly how our dog was doing each day with detailed updates and the best pictures we have ever received! She picked up on our dog’s quirks, behaviors, and weird communication style very quickly and made us feel at ease for the entire trip.
Taya was incredible, she stepped in last minute to help me with my two kitties and when I returned they were clearly well taken care of. Taya gave me detailed notes with each visit, with thoughtful observations and lots of pictures, so I felt connected to them even though I was miles away. It was a supreme relief to know they were in excellent and capable hands in my absence. I highly recommend her services!
As always, my cat had a great time with Taya and I had a great experience as well! Fred looks forward to her next visits!

*UPDATE 8/23/26* I am going back to school this fall to pursue my MS in STEM Education so I will be taking a break from requests until my schedule is more predictable (in a couple weeks likely). I will be reducing my Rover workload quite a bit though and accept requests on a case by case basis. I will likely open up requests for Thanksgiving and New Years.
