The safety of your pet is my #1 priority. I am very aware and attentive of opening and closing the doors and will always double check to make sure your pet is safe and secure. I can crate your dog if needed or requested, or any other special requests you have to ensure you are comfortable with your pet’s safety.

A typical day
A typical day with me and your pet involves lots of attention, love, exercise and play, whether that’s inside with their favorite toy or going out on a walk/hike. And of course sending you cute pictures of all the fun we’re having!

Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13 years old and have been a dog lover ever since. I volunteered for many years for an Alaskan Malamute rescue and have a passion for making sure dogs get all the love they deserve. Growing up, I would walk my two 80lb Malamutes together without issue, so I am experienced and comfortable with large (and stubborn) dogs. I’ve gone through dog training with my malamute, Xander, and even placed in 2nd in a training competition.

Taya is our go-to for drop in visits! She takes such great care of our dog and gives amazing updates!
As usual Taya was great with my cat, Fred. She was attentive to all his needs and provided me with lots of updates (including lots of photos)! Paid close to attention and noted all his little behaviors for me and I appreciated the detail. She also looked for and brought in a package for me one morning which is not something I would ask of my pet sitter, but appreciated her willingness to take an extra minute for this for me. Looking forward to my upcoming trips knowing Taya will be looking after Fred! She is also incredibly communicative with her schedule and allowed me to book some of my trips well in advance with peace of mind surrounding pet care.
Repeat client over here and can’t say enough great things about Taya. She gives detailed updates, plenty of pictures, and actually spends quality time loving on the pet. Shes always my first contact option when leaving my cat because I know he’ll be in great hands!
Taya was wonderful. She was highly communicative, provided detailed accountings of what happened each visit, and took many great/hilarious photos of our cat. She also did a little extra by bringing in our mail each day. We would definitely book with her again!
