Being the sitter I’ve always wanted
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13 years old and have been a dog lover ever since. I volunteered for many years for an Alaskan Malamute rescue and have a passion for making sure dogs get all the love they deserve. Growing up, I would walk my two 80lb Malamutes together without issue, so I am experienced and comfortable with large (and stubborn) dogs. I’ve gone through dog training with my malamute, Xander, and even placed in 2nd in a training competition.

The safety of your pet is my #1 priority. I am very aware and attentive of opening and closing the doors and will always double check to make sure your pet is safe and secure. I can crate your dog if needed or requested, or any other special requests you have to ensure you are comfortable with your pet’s safety.

Taya was truly one of our best Rover experiences! We needed a new rover on short notice to care for our dog while we attended an out of state funeral. Taya happily came by the next day for a meet and greet and was very happy to accommodate us. She clearly loves all animals and was one of the best communicators, leaving great notes for us and even better pictures. I would happily recommend Taya to anyone!

Taya stepped in last minute for us with short notice and was the perfect support. Not only was she a quick responder, she responded with warmth and genuinely wanted to help which made me feel great going into our first visit. She provided great updates, photos, and followed all the instructions great so that my cats were safe and sound while we were away for the holiday weekend. Definitely trust her to book again! As usual Taya was great with my cat, Fred. She was attentive to all his needs and provided me with lots of updates (including lots of photos)! Paid close to attention and noted all his little behaviors for me and I appreciated the detail. She also looked for and brought in a package for me one morning which is not something I would ask of my pet sitter, but appreciated her willingness to take an extra minute for this for me. Looking forward to my upcoming trips knowing Taya will be looking after Fred! She is also incredibly communicative with her schedule and allowed me to book some of my trips well in advance with peace of mind surrounding pet care.

I am currently studying from home to switch careers from an engineer to data analytics. So I have plenty of time to spend and hang out with your pet!
