Caring, pet loving graduate!
Since a young age, I have always adored animals! Growing up, I owned cats, dogs, rabbits, and parakeets. I also spent many years as a teenager at my riding instructor’s barn taking care of her horses. I have experience ensuring pets receive their supplements and/or medication as well. In recent years, I have primarily taken care of cats and dogs, but I am (excitedly) open to other kinds of pets given the appropriate instruction! 🥰 Currently, I do not have any pets as my soulmate kitty passed from Lymphoma in April 2024. I understand deeply how precious our animals are to us, as well as how they improve the quality of our mental health and daily lives.

Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
Having owned indoor only cats, I have a lot of awareness when it comes to their safety. Regardless of whether or not a pet is flighty, I am careful to enter/exit doors quickly. I also remain mindful of pet’s habits when on walks outdoors, especially if they are reactive to other people/pets. I am also totally OK with your pets sleeping with me on the bed for overnights!

Tawny did an incredible job watching our dog Max. Not only did she follow our instructions to the letter, she went above and beyond to make sure he was extra comfortable, since he’s prone to anxiety. This was our first time using Tawny but definitely not the last, I wouldn’t hesitate for one second to recommend her!

Schedule
I am currently focusing on my clinical hours as a clinician and also work part-time with a local school district. My weekends are usually available! I can also provide overnights any day of the week. I typically work Monday-Friday from ~1 or 2 pm until 5:30pm (approximately 3.5-4.5 hours). Outside of that, I see clients on Telehealth.
