My daily routine is filled with animal care and I wouldn't have it any other way! Caring for all types of animals brings me so much joy and getting to know animals and their owners has been a wonderful experience. I have made some wonderful friendships with people (and their pets!) through Rover.

I highly prefer to have a meeting with the pet and pet parent before I start care so I can make sure I have all the information needed to make everyone as comfortable as possible. Feeding schedule, walking routine, medical conditions, and any other information I would find useful before care is important so we all feel confident in the care the pet will be receiving.
A typical day
The care that I provide is completely dependent on each pet's needs. With more active dogs I love to do enriching activities that will make them tired mentally and physically. If I am watching an older dog a slower walk and some company may be more important than physical activity.

Pet care experience
I got my first pet at 5 years old and have fallen in love with every animal I have met ever since. Before relocating to North Carolina I worked with a large breed senior dog rescue and have knowledge in senior dog care. My family and friends endearingly call me the “crazy dog lady” because I love all dogs and it gives me so much joy to be around them. Whether it is walking, bathing, feeding, cuddling or any other activity I treat every dog I meet like my own.
