This is my full time job, giving me the flexibility to offer your pet personalized care throughout the day. With a 3 year old daughter, we’re always active, and I love including pets in our daily routines, whether it's a fun walk, playtime in the yard, or cozy snuggle while we watch a movie. My schedule allows me to ensure your pet gets the attention, love, and activity they need, while also balancing my family life. Travel Surcharge Notice: Please note that for round-trip travel exceeding 20 miles, a $1.00 per mile surcharge will be added after booking. I’m happy to travel up to 100 miles to care for your pet!

When I’m with your dog, it's all about creating a sense of calm, connection, and fun. We’ll start the day with a walk or playtime, whatever makes them happiest! I love engaging with them in their favorite activities, whether it’s a game of fetch, some snuggle time, or simply hanging out together. I’ll stick to their regular routine, keeping things as close to normal as possible to make them feel at ease. If I’m staying overnight, I’ll make sure they feel secure and comfortable in their own space, offering companionship and gentle reassurance throughout the night. Every moment with your dog is spent treating them like part of the family, ensuring they feel loved and well cared for until you’re back home.

With over a decade of experience in animal care, I’ve had the joy of working with everything from dogs and puppies to exotic animals like monkeys and tigers. I’ve also owned and operated a professional dog kennel, where I provided exceptional boarding services and made every pet feel like part of the family. My true passion is creating joyful, fulfilling experiences for the pets in my care. Whether it’s taking extra time for those long, joyful sniffs and grass rolls, cuddling on the couch, or playing their favorite game, I’m here to make sure your pet feels loved, enriched, and happy while you’re away. Every pet deserves the best, and I go above and beyond to give them a fun, stress free, and loving experience. Having rescued and cared for dogs in need, I bring a deep sense of compassion to everything I do. Rover allows me to continue offering the personalized care that pets deserve, treating them like family and making their time with me as special as possible.

Tawny was great...this is the 2nd time we have used her for overnight stays. She takes pictures with update notes of our sweetie throughout the day. She leaves the place as it was when we left. We will definitely use her services again.
We absolutely love Tawny taking care of our Pearl! She and her daughter spent a week here and we loved seeing the two become the best of friends! Tawny makes sure to take care of your place - to include laundry, dishes, trash, even cleaning it up before we arrived home - all without being expected of her. She really does go above and beyond and she will be our forever fur babysitter! Pearl adores her and her daughter so that’s obviously a huge bonus!
This was our very first time utilizing a house/pet sitter and we were quite anxious about having someone stay in our home and taking care of our two pups. It was also our first time using Rover. Tawny and her sister Haylee were absolutely amazing. They provided feedback with pictures throughout each day and followed instructions for feeding and medication just as we asked. Everything was in good order when we got home and we couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you Tawny and Haylee.
Tawny arrived on time to take care of my senior dog. We had just moved here from another state and didn't have a regular sitter . My dog had just lost his vision and new to his home... We needed to be out of state for a few days.. he was given his meds and on his own schedule.. she sent out pictures and updates throughout the day.. and that made us more at ease being away for a few days.
