I am an active stay at home dog mom! While I’m a little busy here and there taking care of our house my schedule allows me to be very open with walks, drop ins and day care times😊

When I care for pets I treat them how I would want someone to treat my fur baby. In a new environment they usually aren’t as comfortable so doing everything I can to make them feel at home is my priority. In a clients home, I treat their belongings with respect as well as their beloved pets. I am a very calm and mellow person so pets (especially dogs) seem to gravitate towards me for comfort.

Ein typischer Tag
Every pet I watch is different so it varies significantly! Older or more mellow dogs like walks but don’t really play much and that’s perfectly fine, we can just hangout and watch movies and get lots of belly rubs. With more energetic dogs I like to keep them stimulated and moving. I have lots of toys and room for them to run and play as well as tricks up my sleeve to get a little energy off before they return to home!

Since then I’ve been pet sitting for several families. When I was in high school I interned at a veterinary clinic and also trained my parents black lab to do dog therapy at our local nursing home. I went to college to be a Veterinarian but decided to work with cancer patients instead. My love for animals never went away and I absolutely love caring for and being around them.

Tawna did an amazing job! When I picked up korra she had the biggest smile on her face. 10/10 I definitely need to book her again.
Since knowing Tawna she has cared for several animals and has done a great job with all of them. She is always making sure they are comfortable and cared for. I highly recommend.
Tawna and I have lived together twice over the past three years. Both times I got to watch her love, nurture, and genuinely care for her dog Murphy. Murphy is the sweetest dog ever and he ADORES Tawna with his whole heart. She also taught me to be a good pet mom as I slowly started to add pets to my family. I got a puppy a while back and she was amazing with caring for her loving her and Tawna is one of my dogs favorite people now. She has watched my cats and my dog on several occasions and has always taken such amazing care of them. She also worked at a vet clinic for a while and couldn’t stop talking everyday about how much she loved seeing all the cute fur babies every day. She moved to another state so she found another job in health care, but I have never met anyone so kind and sweet to all animals and humans. Anyone would be blessed to have her watch their fur babies.
