I have over 12 years of experience in pet-sitting, caring for a wide variety of animals as if they were my own. In addition, I’ve spent my entire life around dogs and cats, gaining invaluable hands-on experience with my own pets. I live in Bowling Green, KY with my husband, our three daughters (ages 9, 5, and 5), and our beloved dog, Tank. We're a family of animal lovers, and it's been such a joy raising our kids to appreciate and care for animals. I’ve also worked in dog boarding and doggy daycare facilities, where I truly loved the work and the time spent with so many amazing dogs & cats. Through those roles, I gained practical experience in dog socialization, identifying both positive and problematic behaviors, maintaining routines, staying organized, and most importantly, being patient. Every dog is unique, and I’ve learned how to help each one feel comfortable and safe at their own pace. If I have the chance to care for your pet, they’ll be showered with love and have tons of fun along the way! PLEASE NOTE: I do have small children so your pup(s) must be good with children. Also, I frequently board up to 2 dogs at a time so your pet must be friendly with other dogs, big & small. This is important so everyone can have a fun & safe boarding experience! She did so amazing w our baby Sparkles! I think he had a blast over there. She was amazing with communication and pictures. This was our first boarding so I think we (sparkles and I) were both pretty nervous. I’d definitely book with her again. Super trustworthy! Everything was clean upon return, sparkles was a happy baby, literally no complaints.
Tavia and her family were incredible! We got lots of great pictures. The house was so clean and pet friendly. Travia’s children were really good with the pups and respected our puppies schedules and needs. We plan on using Tavia again in the future. A 10 for sure!!

Schedule
I’m a stay-at-home mom so I'm home all day most days and that makes it easy for me to care for others pets and give them plenty of belly rubs & playtime! I can easily change my schedule to fit the needs of our furry guest which comes in handy especially if a pet requires medications at a specific time. You can ensure your pet will have around the clock love and care!

Safety, trust & environment
I do have an unfenced yard so your pup will be leashed up to an outdoor dog lead for safe & supervised outdoor breaks. When not actively being supervised your pup will be crated in my own XL dog crate or your crate (if one is provided) to ensure your pups safety. Dogs are never left alone for more than 2-3 hours, if I do leave my home. I typically send 1 photo update a day, typically sent around noon, if you’d like more please let me know!

A typical day
I typically start my day at around 7am. Any pups staying with me at that time are let out right away for a morning potty break & fed breakfast. Regular potty breaks every 2-3 hours after that. Your pup is then free to do whatever they wish, snooze on the couch or play some fetch, it’s entirely up to them! Around 5pm is when I give dinner, then last potty break around 9pm & bedtime!
