Hey there, pet parents! 🐾 We’re Tatiana & Andres, and with our sweet pup Maqui, we offer a loving, active, and safe home-away-from-home for your pets — right here in Nieuwegein (20 mins from Utrecht Central). We both work from home, so your pets will never be left alone and will receive just as much love and attention as Maqui does 💕. What your pet can expect: 🏡 Spacious, cozy home — like a holiday for your pet! 🌲 Forest walks & nature adventures nearby ☀️ Backyard playtime & sunbathing 🏖️ Beach days & kayaking for the more adventurous 🐶 Social fun with Maqui (if your pet enjoys company!) 🍪 Tasty treats & cuddles always included ❤️ Lots of cuddles, enrichment, and care 🚗 Pickup & drop-off service available (ask us!) After our long-time petsitter moved away, I was nervous about finding someone new. Toffee met three other sitters and rejected them all. At the first meeting with Tatyana, she didn’t hide or run away. When I came home from a short trip, I was greeted by relax Toffee. We really appreciated the help of Tatiana with taking care of our cat Aboe. Even though it was a last minute request, she was enthusiastic and willing to help. She responded very fast to the request and to texts. We got lovely pictures when she was taking care of Aboe. We would highly recommend!

Life offers BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE MEETINGS !!! Tatiana is definitely one of them !!! She has been WONDERFUL with our 6 months dog, she took care of him for 3 days. She even had to give him his medication. Planning
We both work from home, so we're here all day and have plenty of time to give your pet love, attention, playtime, and exercise. On weekdays, with Maqui we go on 3–4 walks a day (morning, lunchtime, a long walk after work, and a short one before bed) and she gets two meals a day. With your pet, we will adapt to its routine. Weekends are more flexible and fun! We usually head out for long nature walks in the morning, and if the weather’s nice, we’ll make the most of it with beach trips, forest hikes, or sunny backyard lounging.

Our home is completely pet-friendly — all areas are open to our furry guests. We love to cuddle on the couch, lounge together in the sunroom or garden, and pets are welcome to sleep in our guest bedroom, which doubles as the “dog guest suite” 🐶💤. The backyard is fully enclosed, and dogs are never left alone. If we’re visiting your pet at home, we make sure to respect your routine, keep everything clean and calm, and give your pet all the attention and care they’re used to — and then some! 🐾

Your dog can expect: 🐕 Forest walks & outdoor adventures ☀️ Backyard playtime or sunbathing 🎾 Enrichment games, toys & sniffing fun 💤 Nap spots around the house 💕 Couch cuddles and one-on-one attention 🏖️ Optional beach days or kayaking trips (if your dog is into that!) 📸 Daily updates with cute photos and videos (if you're okay, we'll post them on our IG @maquis.friends) We always adjust based on your pet’s age, energy, and temperament to make sure every guest feels safe, seen, and loved.
