Welcome to Our Home-from-Home Dog Boarding 🐾 Hello! I’m Tanya, and I’d love to welcome your dog into our family home. I provide a calm, loving, home-from-home boarding experience where your dog will be treated as one of the family. My husband, Eric, helps when needed, but I am the primary caregiver and will be looking after your dog throughout their stay. We live in a spacious three-bedroom house with a secure garden in a quiet, dog-friendly area. We also have two wonderful children, aged 10 and 7, who have grown up around dogs and are kind, gentle, and respectful of animals. Our much-loved pug, Peggy, recently crossed the rainbow bridge after many happy years with us. She was incredibly friendly and brought so much joy to our family. We miss her dearly, and caring for other dogs allows us to continue sharing the love and attention we have to give. I’ve had animals all my life, including dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, and birds, so caring for pets comes naturally to me. Peggy also had a litter of puppies, which gave me valuable experience in raising and caring for young dogs. We still keep in touch with several of the families who adopted her puppies. As a stay-at-home mum, I’m at home for most of the day, which means your dog will receive plenty of companionship, attention, and care. I only leave the house occasionally for short errands, and I always plan my day around the dogs in my care. I aim to keep your dog’s routine as close as possible to what they’re used to, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, rest, and cuddles. To ensure every dog enjoys a safe and relaxed stay, I only accept dogs that are friendly and comfortable around children and other dogs. I know how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else, so I do everything I can to make both you and your pet feel comfortable. You’re very welcome to arrange a meet-and-greet before booking to visit our home, meet us, and make sure we’re the right fit. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member!
