As a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet owner, I bring confidence, calm, and compassion to every drop-in visit. I currently share my home with three wonderful dogs — a Husky, an Australian Shepherd, and a Klee Kai — so I’m very comfortable with active, intelligent breeds that need more than just a quick walk. They are well-trained, regularly exercised, and mentally stimulated, and I bring that same level of care and attentiveness to every pet I look after. Over the years, I’ve cared for pets at every life stage — from energetic puppies to my now-senior dogs, so I understand the importance of tailoring care to each animal’s age and needs. I’m also experienced with administering medication, managing mobility issues, and providing the extra patience and gentleness senior pets deserve. In addition to dogs, I also care for my 6-year-old cat and two bunnies. I know how to read feline body language, maintain clean litter areas, and provide the kind of quiet, respectful attention most cats prefer. I’m also comfortable with rabbit care — from feeding routines to habitat maintenance. Whether you have a high-energy dog, a shy cat, or aging pets with special routines, I’ll ensure they’re safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

When caring for pets in their home, my focus is on meeting each animal’s individual needs with compassion, respect, and attentiveness. For dogs, I actively engage with them during my visit — whether that means feeding, playtime, cuddles, or supervised backyard time. I pay close attention to their energy levels and personalities to ensure they feel safe, stimulated, and loved. If a dog is shy or anxious, I take a calm, patient approach and work to build trust at their pace. When caring for cats, I always attempt gentle engagement through play or affection, but I fully respect their boundaries. Even if a cat prefers to keep their distance, I always make sure to visually confirm they are safe and in good condition. My goal is to provide dependable, stress-free care so your pets feel secure and well looked after while you’re away.

I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide drop-in visits throughout the day. Whether your pet needs care in the morning, afternoon, or early evening, I can typically accommodate a variety of time windows. My schedule lets me give your pets the attention and consistency they need while you’re away.

This includes: • Feeding schedule and any dietary restrictions • Medication needs or health conditions • Bathroom routines and any accidents to expect • Personality traits (shy, energetic, anxious, etc.) • What helps them feel safe or calm • Favorite toys, games, or comfort items • Any quirks I should know — like barking at the mail, hiding in certain spots, or unusual habits The more I know, the better I can tailor my visit to your pet’s unique needs and make it a positive experience for them (and for you!).
