Animals have been my passion since I can remember. I have had my dog, Pancake, (a beagle) since 2005. (She went over the rainbow bridge November 2019) Although she was the only pet I ever had, I have learned a lot from her especially when it comes to body language. When a dog wants to go out, when they want to play, when they're alert, when somethings wrong, or when they just want attention. I previously worked as an Animal Caretaker at the NIH in Rockville, MD from May 2016-May 2019. I then worked from June 2019 to August 2020 at PG animal services and adoption facility. I was responsible for adult dogs, puppies, adult cats, kittens, and rabbits! I recently (August 2020) have made the hard decision to leave my full time working with animals to become a full time student and finish my BA in Animal Science.
