Looking to love your Pooch
COVID-19 precautions: I will show up with a mask while with you and your pets. I abide by CDC guidelines. Hi, my name is Tate. I'm a PhD student at UC Davis and have owned cats and dogs my entire life. At 10 years old, I started attending Guide Dog meetings where I learned how to train dogs. During my involvement in Guide Dogs, I took care of dogs while the trainers were out of town and acted as a substitute trainer. Since then I have been pet sitting for neighbors and friends. I've been doing Rover since 2018 and can take care of various pets and needs. Dogs, cats, smaller mammals, birds, and reptiles are all fine.

Tate was an exceptional petsitter going above and beyond to help us out. We forgot our tickets to a show at home and she was able to help us out by taking pictures of them. She also sent us lots of pictures of our cats while we were away. We came back and I could tell the cats had been taken care of very well. Highly recommend!!

Schedule
I’m a graduate student researcher, so my schedule varies. I typically work 4-7 hour days in the lab 4-5 days a week. I feed and check on animals before going to work and after when performing at-home stays. I can do check-ins and walks in the morning before work and late afternoons-evening on weekdays. Weekends I’m in town I can stay in your home most of the time with your pets.
