Hi there, I’m Tasha! I’ve grown up around dogs all of my life, from having a childhood dog for my first 17 years, to being a dog mom of my own for the past 11.5 years, with many other dog care opportunities throughout! My wonderful husband and I have a blended pack of three dogs: two Brittany's, our angel girl Brink (11🌈) and Hadley (6) and a proud Dachshund named Plum (10). My husband considers himself a Dachsund expert. I have experience with puppies and every stage in between as I raised our Brittanys since they were 7 and 8 weeks old. I also have experience with senior care now that the dogs are getting older and the misfortune of palliative care, as Brink went through rapidly deteriorating health before her journey across the Rainbow Bridge in March. We now have two dogs living in our home who happily play nice and make new friends fast. I am comfortable caring for dogs with separation and generalized anxiety, those that are high energy, and those that need extra care and attention. I can administer oral and injectable medications and am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. Dogs are one of my favorite things in life, and losing one of my babies has only illuminated the genuine care and deep love I feel for them. I wear my Dog Mom shirts and hats with pride, and will go out of my way to say hi to any wagging tail I come across! When your dog is with us, they are given the love, cuddles, walks, and treats every dog deserves! Bring your dog for the day or overnight, and be at ease knowing they are part of OUR pack!

I am so excited that I found Tasha, I finally can go on trips knowing my dogs are well cared for and aren't in a hurry to leave when I come to pick them up. My dogs recently for the first time were cared for outside of my home by Tasha for 9 days, longest they have been away from me. Shortly before my trip to prepare them for their stay I took them to Tasha's for a couple of days for a few hours to help them acclimate and they did very quickly. The first day one of them tried to leave with me but with Tasha's care the second time both of them were running up her driveway which made me very comfortable. When I picked them up after my trip they were both their normal selves. She sent me pictures each day and let me know how they were doing. They seemed right at home even in one picture relaxing on each side of her husband as he sat (just guys hanging out ). They seem so comfortable in the pictures, which eased my worries about leaving them for so long. I have already booked with her for additional trips. I highly recommend her!
Maddie lives her best life at Tasha’s house! We are so thankful for her and the great care she provides each and every time she has Maddie!
This is the second time that my dogs went to Tasha's for a partial day. It is also their first time to be cared for outside of our home so expectedly one of my dogs the first time was a little uneasy, however the second time immediately as they got out of the car they ran toward her driveway and did not show any concern with me leaving. She comforted them and made them feel at ease. They were very calm when I picked them up. They will be going again soon for a few days and with this past experience it makes me feel at ease.
Tasha was one of the best dog sitters I’ve used on Rover! She was very responsive, communicated well, and took excellent care of my dog. It was comforting to know my dog was in a safe environment while I was out of town. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I am able to provide day care and boarding on my 3 days off a week, which most weeks are Friday-Sunday. Boarders may stay until Monday at 1 pm, as I work in the evening. All other mornings, up until 1 pm, I can accommodate walks and drop-in visit requests!

Safety, trust & environment
In the included pictures of our home, you'll notice we have a large, fully-fenced backyard with lush grass to roll around in and plenty of areas to sniff! It is a 6-foot fence with locking gates on both sides. A magnetic screen door is attached to our back door for your pups to move freely between inside and the outdoors, with access to clean water at all times. Exits are always secure, and our dogs are fully harnessed and leashed for our daily walks, which your pups may join in on if you choose! We are within walking distance of the Waggin Tails Dog Park and have a lot of nice sidewalks in the surrounding area to stroll around town. Our dogs sleep on the bed with us, in their own beds, or throughout the house. We even have a ramp up to our bed to help our short-legged sausage dog! However, we will accommodate your preferred sleeping method. We have a two-level house, but we can block the stairs upon request. There are cozy beds and couches (indoor and outdoor) to cuddle up on, blankets galore to snuggle under, and a variety of toys throughout the house!! Both of our dogs are friendly and suit any energy level, as one is younger, higher energy, and playful, whereas the other is most comfortable buried under a mountain of blankets on the couch! They are also both spayed and up to date on vaccines. My love for dogs is why I do this, so I take pride in offering low prices to accommodate everyone who needs care! I provide services for one family at a time, so your pup(s) are top priority! This allows for plenty of pictures and updates while you're away, and a customized care experience to best suit your pup based on their needs and individual personalities.

A typical day
I love to shower your dogs with love and affection throughout the entire day, so you can expect a lot of pets, belly rubs, snuggles, and praise! We will most likely start the day with a nice walk, stopping to sniff all the good spots and search for new and exciting happenings in the surrounding areas. If you'd like, we may even check out what is happening at nearby Waggin' Tails Dog Park or take a field trip to another fun park! We will then go back to the house and take a nice break and let our stomachs settle before having breakfast. A mid-morning nap will be a must with a full belly! Afternoon will be all about playing with toys, either outside or inside, whether dependent. Chasing Hadley around the garden and backyard will be a nice energy burn to transition to cozying up next to Plum for a relaxing lounge on the couch! After a good rest, it will probably be time for dinner and some more light play afterwards. If you're still with us in the evening, we might enjoy a bonus stroll around the neighborhood or cuddle in for some snuggles on the couch. Everyone goes potty and gets a little treat before settling in for a restful night's sleep after a busy day!

- I would most like to know your dog's basic routine, ie eating habits (how often and how much), sleeping method (kennel, our bed, or somewhere else), and energy level (lots of play and walks or relaxed and lounging). Spay/neuter and immunization status will be a requirement for any field trips to the dog parks, if you would like that activity included. Any additional quirks or tips you can provide to help your pup feel like one of the Pack are greatly appreciated! Since I have dogs as well, everyone MUST get along and have no aggression to ensure an enjoyable, stress-free, and safe stay for all!
