Short Notice And Reliable Caretaker

**Rover does not allow me to set my actual pricing correctly. It's $75 for up to TWO animals, then $15 per extra dog and $10 per extra cat** I have had dogs since I was a child. I have attended multiple training classes and am a capable dog handler. I clicker train my dog. I also run agility with my dog and have gained special skills with that. I am capable of teaching your dog some basic obedience with the clicker and am able to help problem-solve unwanted behaviors. I can also medicate your dog as vet prescribed.

Tasha was great you can tell she really cares about the pets, and she provides lots of updates and pictures.

Charges double for a puppy, but doesn’t pay double (or enough) attention to the puppy. Could tell the puppy wasn’t getting enough water by the minimal amount of times he went outside compared to normal. Then saw him drinking a puddle of rainwater (something he’s never done before) instead of pottying outside (she promptly took him back inside). Turns out she stayed in the basement the whole time (where their food and water bowls were not) and didn’t want them to go upstairs much (where their food and water bowls were). When we got home, their water bowls were empty and my puppy drank his entire bowl of water as well as his brothers entire bowl of water bowl the moment we filled them. AND I asked her to sleep in the guest room with the door shut so he couldn’t roam the house and get into his food container (because he has before, wound up choking almost to death), she didn’t. Slept on the basement couch where he was free to roam because she wanted to watch TV while falling asleep. Hindsight, I should’ve responded with: “we’re not paying you to watch tv I’m paying you to keep out dogs safe.” Luckily remained alive. Oh, and she let him chew a two inch hole in our carpet right next to the couch she stayed on the whole time. Outside of that, she brought our packages in which was nice and she mopped the entryway floor from what I can only assume was puppy pee by the front door. The dogs were alive and fine at the end of it, but I won’t use again. Just general lack of following directions and basic care for the puppy. I guess I just expected directions to be followed and our puppy to not be dehydrated.

Schedule

I am a full-time sitter and have dedicated myself to pet care. I live and breathe this work and try to show that to clients through my hard work ethic.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives on a farm
Has a fenced garden
Non-smoking household
Has 3 dogs, 2 cats
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Pets allowed on furniture
Toilet breaks every 0-2 hours

Safety, trust & environment

Any animals that have a conflict are kept separated from the other, especially during feeding times. I am able to crate any dog that is trained for it. In the client's home, I will follow the routine established by the client. It is best to not disrupt it if at all possible.

Pets

A typical day

I live on a farm that has 10 acres of property. The perimeter is mostly fenced with the exception of a few sections that need repair. Your dog can enjoy my wide acreage during walks on either a short or long leash. They can be entertained watching horses and chickens from afar.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Tasha can host up to 4 pets per night
Temperament and ability to socialize with other animals. Their typical schedule and their level of obedience training. Any triggers they may have that cause aggressive behavior. Medical conditions and the times/dosage of administration.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass an identity verification. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
