Kind and caring animal lover!
I've had dogs since I was 11 (i'm 38!) and I've loved taking care of them. I love spending time with all animals because they bring a calm energy and deserve to be respected and well looked after. I have learnt quite a bit about dog behaviour since my pup Pongo is a rescue and can be reactive - I have developed a lot of knowledge around this and know how to avoid stressful situations. I also learnt to look after my old senior labrador Alf who lived until he was 15. I love spending time with Pongo, having lovely walks in the forest and lying together on the sofa - it's one of my favourite places!! Additionally, I've also looked after my next door neighbour's cats quite frequently too and really like playing with them and ensuring they have everything they need. I'm a primary school teacher so have a DBS that I could share with you.

I would ensure that I keep your place exactly as I found it and clean up after the pets I look after (I know from experience how much extra tidying they require...!)

Taryn is such a lovely person and you can immediately tell how good she is with animals! Our dog is anxious and can be reactive around people he doesn’t know, but he was instantly at ease and relaxed around her. Thank you and would definitely recommend!

I’ve known Taryn for over ten years now, and one of the first things I noticed about her is what a wonderful dog mum she is to her own pup Pongo. The love and attention she gives him tells you everything you need to know about the kind of pet sitter she'll be. I had Taryn look after my cat Rufus, and he was so happy and well cared for in her hands. Rufus could be a nervous soul around new people, but Taryn's patience and calm nature put him completely at ease. She's attentive, notices the little things, and clearly knows her stuff when it comes to animal care. She treats pets like family, not just a responsibility. I have no doubt any pet in her care will feel safe, comfortable, and truly loved.

Schedule
I'm currently working part time and studying so at the moment my availability is weekends and evenings. However, from mid July to the start of September I'll be free every day (primary school teacher on summer hols!)
