We had a great first experience using Rover! Taryn was truly the perfect choice for our pup sitter! I was pretty nervous having to leave my puppy for the whole day but Taryn really took the best care of her. Communication was great and everything ended up going very smoothly! They played together throughout the day and Taryn even managed to give Leia some basic training lessons, which was super awesome!! We would absolutely recommend Taryn and will definitely book her again because we know our Leia will be safe and having fun!! 🐾✨♥️

Taryn Smits is an excellent dog, house sitter. Taryn is excellent with animals she has raised her own dog to be a registered service dog whom she trained herself. She stayed with my 2 whippets while I went on vacation. I rarely leave my dogs as I’m very protective of them. Taryn needed to administer meds twice a day and deal with a dog who has little interest in eating ( a very difficult dog to feed). She also had to walk them daily and provide lots of attention. While away I didn’t worry a bit as she sent me updates and pics. Upon my return my dogs didn’t want her to leave and she even got my dog who doesn’t like to eat to eat 2 meals a day which he continues to do today. Knowing that Taryn enlisted in the military working with animals gave me such peace of mind knowing that she’d take great care of my whippets as that is also her career path. I’ve also known Taryn for years and have seen her grow into an incredibly responsible caring trustworthy adult whom I’d trust implicitly with my dogs and my home.

Taryn watched our two dogs for a week while away. Both dogs are older and one of which is on a special diet and requires medication twice a day. Taryn was very loving towards our dogs and actually spent time with them playing and giving them lots of cuddles and loves. She even sent us pictures of her and the dogs while we were gone. Taryn stayed at our house so that she can be with the dogs. Taryn is very trustworthy, reliable and caring. I would highly recommend Taryn to watch your pets.

I highly recommend Taryn as a pet caregiver. As an Animal Care Specialist in the U.S. Army, she has extensive experience working with military working dogs, horses, and a wide variety of animals. She has personally taken excellent care of my cat and dog, always showing patience, responsibility, and genuine compassion. As an NCO in the Army, I’ve also witnessed her dedication, motivation, and enthusiasm firsthand. She consistently goes above and beyond in every task she takes on, and I would trust her with any animal without hesitation.

Taryn does a great job of caring for pets by following schedules, reinforcing training, and genuinely loving them. She will make sure that your pets is loved during your time away!
