A typical day
A typical day includes walks, playtime, and plenty of attention tailored to each pet’s personality. Energetic dogs might enjoy long walks, fetch, or tug-of-war, while calmer or older pets can expect gentle strolls and extra cuddle time. Cats get play, enrichment, and cozy companionship. I love mixing activity with relaxation so every pet feels happy, safe, and loved.

Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs of many temperaments, so caring for them has come naturally since I was young. I’ve helped friends and neighbors with their dogs, from playful puppies to the most anxious worriers and senior companions, prioritizing the mental and physical well-being of each one. I’m comfortable giving oral medications and happy to learn injections with guidance. I also work at a doggie daycare and love the work.

Taryn P (pronouns They/Them) has a genuine love of dogs and our dog Ro. And Ro loves Taryn too. Our Ro is older with good & bad days. Traditional boarding has been extra stressful on him. So having Taryn care for him, in our home, has been absolutely wonderful. They have been taking care of Ro for a couple of years now, including longer times, when we’ve been out of the country and emergency last minute requests. Taryn has their own car, so their willingness to take Ro to the park or his regular Thursday daycare session has worked perfectly for us. I wholeheartedly recommend Taryn to take care of your dog too.
