I work at Starbucks and am currently in school pursuing a career in nursing. I’ve always loved animals and have experience caring for dogs through sitting for families in my neighborhood. Many of my clients have come through word-of-mouth recommendations because they trust me to care for their pets. I’m reliable, responsible, and enjoy spending time with dogs. I’m happy to help with walks, playtime, and making sure your dog gets the care and attention they need while you’re away.

I make sure pets feel comfortable and safe in their own environment by following their normal routines and paying attention to their needs. I’m careful to keep doors and gates secure, provide a safe space, and follow any instructions from the owner. I also pay attention to their behavior, energy levels, and anything that may be out of the ordinary so I can make sure they’re happy and well cared for.

Before caring for your pet, I’d like to know their normal routine, feeding schedule, energy level, and any medications or health concerns. I also like to know how they do around other dogs and people, whether they have any fears or triggers, and if there are any commands, habits, or preferences that help them feel comfortable. The more I know beforehand, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe and cared for!!
A typical day
A typical day depends on each pet’s routine, but I always make sure they have fresh water, meals if needed, potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of attention. I enjoy playing with dogs, giving them time to explore, and making sure they feel comfortable while you’re away. During drop-in visits, I can also reinforce basic routines, give treats (if approved), and make sure your pet gets the care and companionship they’re used to. My goal is to keep their day as normal and stress-free as possible.

Taryn is hands down the best dog sitter we’ve ever had! She’s stayed overnight with our dogs, Murphy and Arthur, several times, and every experience has been amazing. She goes above and beyond to make sure they’re well taken care of- letting them out regularly, taking them on walks, and giving them lots of attention and love. The biggest thing for me is the peace of mind she gives us. It’s so nice being able to leave town knowing our dogs are happy, safe, and in such great hands. I never have to worry because I know Taryn treats them like they’re her own. If you’re looking for someone reliable, caring, and trustworthy, I can’t recommend Taryn enough. Murphy and Arthur absolutely love her, and so do we!

We absolutely love having her watch our dogs! She does such a wonderful job caring for both our large Bernedoodle and our small Chihuahua mix, and she goes above and beyond to make sure they feel loved and entertained. She is thoughtful, attentive, and communicates so well, which gives us complete peace of mind while we’re away. Most importantly, our dogs absolutely love seeing her and are always so happy to spend time with her. We couldn’t recommend her enough!
