Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with small dogs, and over the years I've lived with and cared for cats and medium to large dogs owned by family, roommates, and neighbors. Today I own two cats and regularly watch friends' pets when they travel. I'm comfortable with pets of all sizes and I treat every pet in my care the way I'd want mine treated.

When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their established routines and rules as closely as possible so the pet's environment stays familiar and low-stress. I always confirm entry/exit procedures, secure doors and gates behind me, and check that food, water, and litter are addressed on schedule. I treat each home with the same care and respect I'd want for my own, and I stay attentive to a pet's body language and comfort level throughout each visit, always reaching out to the owner if anything seems off.

Taryn is great with animals and has taken great care of my two kitties! As a cat owner themselves, they understand how each animal has a unique personality and needs. My cats are a bit hesitant with new people, but Taryn was very patient and gave them space to approach when they were ready rather than trying to force anything- which cat owners will know is the best way to do it! They gave updates each day and provided plenty of photos (which I always love!)
Taryn is a fantastic pet owner and an incredibly reliable pet sitter. Whenever I’ve had to travel, Taryn has always taken the time to lovingly care for my pets as if they were his own. He communicates extremely well and provides regular updates, so I always have peace of mind knowing everyone is safe, happy, and well cared for. Schedule
I currently work from home, which means pet care fits naturally into my day rather than being squeezed in around a commute. I'm able to visit at consistent times for feedings, walks, and playtime, and I'm flexible enough to adjust visit times if a pet needs extra attention or a different routine.
