Pet care experience
WFH, fenced yard, love all pets!
We take extra precautions when we are pet sitting because I would want the same care for my dogs when they are away. I do my best to stay updated on pet safety to ensure we are providing a safe and fun stay for your pets. My partner and I help take care of family and friends’ pets and started ‘Rovering’ years ago. We are truly animal lovers and enjoy spending time dog sitting, meeting new animals, etc. We foster regularly with rescues and shelters in the area and stay very involved in animal welfare. Pet friends: We have 2 Great Danes, Willow and Coral and the sweetest staff names Whimsy. They love everyone and every dog they meet. They love when we have house guests! They’re been around hundreds of dogs and can’t wait to play! We have fostered over 70 dogs. Availability: I work from home full-time and my schedule is very flexible. I will be home with your pets all day and if I do leave for an hour or so, your pet can be crated if you prefer. I will send updates, check-ins, and photos everyday.

We had an excellent experience with Taryn! Had great communication leading up to Scout's stay and she made sure she knew everything necessary to care for him. Sent lots of pictures and videos during his stay and he had a great time with her as well as her other dogs! Taryn is very knowledgeable on dog care and was very thoughtful on her approach to introducing Scout to a new environment, other dogs, etc. We will certainly be using her services again down the road!

How blessed we were to find someone like Taryn to keep our babies. I knew they were in good hands with her, once I met her. She sent us pictures throughout our trip, made our trip enjoyable because of it. Thank you Taryn for being so wonderful!
Tayrn did a great job caring for Ripley. This was Ripley’s first time being boarded and Tayrn took extra st were pjs to help her adjust. Ripley was tired after her stay but that was to be expected. We will use Tayrn again for sure. Thanks for helping keep Ripley safe and healthy.
Taryn was amazing with our Rocky boy! Great communication and he was exhausted for days when after we got him!
Taryn was great! Our dogs definitely have some quirks and aren't the easiest to deal with. Taryn handled them like a pro and they had so much fun too! Would definitely recommend her and use her again

Schedule
We have a fenced in back yard so your dog can go outside as much as they’d like, worry free. I can take multiple walks a day if you want your dog walked. I will hangout with your pet in the home, animals are my favorite coworkers and I chill with them on the couch most of the day! My coworkers love when they make an appearance in our virtual meetings.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will be loved while they are at our house. They have full access to our house (couches have been claimed as theirs) but I can easily crate your dog if needed and preferred. I’ve watched dogs from very affectionate towards people/dogs and also owned and watched dogs that were a bit more people reactive and dog reactive and needed some extra TLC. I will always ask what the background of the dog is before caring for them to get a sense of what will make them feel most comfortable. Our extra bedroom has been dubbed the doggy den. We have a few raised dog beds there so if they want their alone time, they can access that room at anytime.
Pets
A typical day
Going for walks is a favorite activity of mine, so I will gladly take your dog on however many and however long of walks he or she is used to. I love going on walking trails near the water so they can get wet and cool off in the summer and get a drink. I also love playing fetch in the yard or a fenced in area. Willow adores other dogs and playing with them. If you prefer the dog just uses the backyard while they’re here, that is perfectly fine as well!
